UPDATE: My complaints about my last visit have been handled spectacularly by the team at Dunkin Donuts. The operations manager, Mr Aziz Zefri, and the store manager, Mr Kevin D'Ascanio, got in touch with me to outline a plan to assure a situation like this would not occur again in the future, including termination of the employee in question. I have been back several times now and have absolutely noticed a huge difference. My orders have been correct and prompt and the customer service I've received has been nothing short of perfect - particularly from an employee named (I believe) Levi. I am extremely satisfied with the way this situation was handled and feel confident that I can return to being a loyal Dunkin' customer.
ORIGINAL: Aside from the fact that this store FREQUENTLY gets my order wrong, today as I was in the drive thru with my husband, the cashier decided it was appropriate to look me up and down and say "Those pajamas are sexy." I was HIGHLY uncomfortable as that is a completely inappropriate comment to make. I don't care that he was joking - working in customer service he has NO business saying things like that to female customers. It was creepy, disgusting, inappropriate, and entirely rude. Read moreThe staff is very rude. We were rushed through our order, talked over, and quieted when we wanted to order food with "Are you ordering drinks? Well, you have to order those first." in a very rude tone of voice. We remained polite and shrugged it off because we love the product DD puts out. Our food did not come out as we requested, most likely due to being rushed, bossed around and not listened to. Again, we remained polite. Upon returning to the counter to correct the mistakes, the employee who took our order both rudely and incorrectly proceeded to argue that she gave us our food as ordered and did not make any mistakes. Having had enough of her unnecessarily nasty mistreatment,I politely asked to speak to her manager. The manager proceeded to be rude, but in a "polite" way, and when I pointed that out, she played innocent and acted like she had not been rude at all. I will NEVER return to this DD again. It was a horrible experience and someone from corporate needs to come in and teach everyone quite a bit about customer service, if not clear the place out entirely and start over with a new staff. Read moreOkay before I start, it must be said I am a big Dunkin' fan! My kids love Starbucks but I don't see the appeal. However, I still try to be objective when reviewing the different Dunkin establishments.
First off, the building was clean and tidy. The inside was open for dining and it was a nice quiet place to sit and enjoy a beverage and sweet treat.
Secondly, I did not go through the drive thru, I ordered inside. I find that it is easier to order specific drinks if one is talking to a person. With that being said the barista was friendly, direct, and understanding. She took my order quickly and went out of her way to make sure the drink specialist understood what I wanted. So big thanks Julia you are a Rock Star!
For clarification, my drink (pictured below), is a Med Frozen coffee with 4 pumps of caramel, and whipped cream blended into the drink as well as on top. I like mine to be bitter sweet. Definitely try it!
Finally, if there is a down side it's the lack of selection with the donuts. But I still had to get some munchkins for myself and my tiny ones.
All in all, 9.5 out of 10! Excellent service and drink was made...
