I almost never write reviews, but I think this is important for anyone to read if they are considering doing business with this place.

I arrived here with a friend of mine some weeks ago because we saw that they had a party going on.

They charged $15 for each of us as a cover at the door, and we walked in. However, within 5 minutes (and no more than 5 minutes) we realised that the music was not our style… a little hardcore, which is fine, but we didn’t realise this before we had paid. Since we had just entered a moment before, we decided to go back out and ask if we could have our money back.

I explained very nicely to the owner (Mary) that we had just entered and realised that the music wasn’t for us and apologised for the inconvenience (the doorman also confirmed with her that we had just entered a couple minutes before) and if it were possible to have our money back. She gave me a look with so much (honestly, I can say this:) disgust, shaking her head and said, „NO. Absolutely not. It is UNHEARD of that you come over here and request this. NOBODY does this. This money is for the BAND and you’re wanting to take that away from them??? UNHEARD of.“ And wanted me to leave immediately. I had explained that for my friend and I $30 was a lot as we are both students, and reminded her that we were only inside for a couple minutes. She refused and continued repeating those words and wanting me to leave… I felt absolutely terrible.

I had realised that this was actually one of the meanest encounters I had actually ever experienced with a woman; from the way she looked at me, talked to me, and treated me. She treated me honestly as if I were not worth a single cent of her time and gave me such a look of hatred and disgust that I can’t even describe. It was very obvious that money was more important to her than being kind or even being respectful to another human being. She could have declined my offer in a respectful manner, and I would have accepted it, but that is absolutely not what happened. I left the place shaking with shock and my friend and I...

If you're looking for one of the coolest, most eclectic bars in Asheville, Fleetwood's in West Asheville is the place to be. This spot has it all: an amazing bar stocked with local craft brews, a laid-back vibe, and a killer lineup of entertainment, from live music shows to a DJ spinning tunes on select nights.

Step outside, and you’ll find a great backyard space perfect for chilling with friends or meeting new ones. It’s got that funky, welcoming vibe that makes Asheville, well, Asheville. And if you’re in the mood to shop, Fleetwood's has you covered with thrift store treasures galore—everything from unique vintage finds to full-on wedding dresses and tuxedos (yes, you read that right). And while you technically can get married on the spot, let’s just say… it might not be totally legal! 😉

On weekends during the warmer months, Fleetwood's hosts an outdoor market that’s as quirky and fun as the bar itself. Shop local, find something funky, and grab a cold beer while you browse.

And the location? Absolutely perfect. Fleetwood's is perched on the Westside of town, with easy access to I-240 and surrounded by some of the best eats in Asheville. It’s right on the corner, making it a prime spot to pop in for a drink, hang out, or stay all night.

Fleetwood's isn’t just a bar—it’s a vibe. Whether you’re here for the craft brews, the music, the thrift finds, or just the unforgettable energy, you’re in for a good time. It’s truly one of Asheville’s most unique hangouts, and you don’t want to miss it. Cheers to...

This place is judgmental as hell, came in because my engine blew in my car and was stuck in Asheville till the next day, asked to charge my phone if I bought a few drinks (which they allowed). Stay for 4 hrs and bought 5 drinks but was asked to leave because I "used the bathroom 3 times in 4hrs and had a backpack" I guess they assume l was homeless of something because of the packpack even though I spent 50 dollars and tipped more than 20. Avoid at all costs. The bartenders are trash. They appear to seem open and accepting but I guess if I don't have tattoos or weird hair and strays are in there, never will come again. Found a better bar down the street and having...

My husband and I got married at Fleetwood's in April 2024. The wedding experience was truly perfect for us. They asked which song we wanted to walk back down the aisle to (after the ceremony), which I thought was really nice and made it even more special. They treated our family (party of 7) like their own family. We visit regularly for drinks and events. It's one of our favorite spots to spend time in Asheville due to the laid-back environment, good drinks, fun events, and great people.

Went for a show, everything was great until I went to the bar. One young lady bartender and she was overwhelmed, I sat at the bar with cash in hand and was passed up numerous times to "regulars" who just walked up after me. Finally got my drink ordered, but she sat them at the other end and got distracted again by other customers. Another bartender finally walked up and put them back in the cooler so I just left. Was great till she was there.
