Rowan Coffee — Restaurant in Asheville

Alright pal, lemme tell ya! I walk into Rowan Coffee, and whoa-ho-ho! It smells amazing, like that warm, roasty, magical coffee smell that grabs your soul and whispers, “You’re gonna guzzle something delicious, buddy.” I’m standing there sniffin’ the air like a confused bloodhound thinking, “Whatever they’re making back there, I want a bucket of it.” The place has a cool industrial vibe with everybody lookin’ calm and sophisticated. Meanwhile I’m just tryin’ not to drool on the counter. So I order the cappuccino. This beautiful little cup, with that perfect thin layer of foam on top, and buddy, it smells like happiness itself. I take a sip and “ba-da-boop!” my brain starts throwin’ a party. Smooth, warm, cozy, like a hug from a cloud that’s been to Italy. Then they hand me the cardamom bun, and ohhh baby. This thing’s twisty, shiny, smellin’ like joy. I take one bite and my taste buds are high-fivin’. And the next thing I know, I ate it all pal. Rowan Coffee, you walk in feelin’ normal, you walk out buzzin’ like a happy weirdo with caffeine confidence. Get the cappuccino, get the cardamom bun, and breathe in that roasty...

I paid for parking to visit the new spot when they first opened because of major FOMO. The new place is beautifully done. I can’t say this is my favorite latte in town (Haywood has plenty of stiff coffee competition.) It’s just a bit bitter for my taste. You’re also paying a little extra here. If you want to impress visitors this is a great place to bring them. Also bonus points for the playlist. It probably isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I really enjoyed the music the day I went. I’ll for sure be back another day but I will dread trying to get a free parking spot. It’s a place to go when you have other spots on Haywood to visit to make the parking...

Open daily and open late, caffeine, libations, amazing selection of wines, beers, roasted coffee

Expanded menu, all day food options, pastries from West End bakery, nearby Recess, in-house, sandwiches, soups, salads, sardines, trout, olives, snacks, a vast selection.

Also… don’t mind the line, it goes fast.

The staff are extremely humble incredible. Chill, creative, and unpretentious. Outdoor seating, easy street parking, walkable to everything on Haywood, total gem..💎
