Starbucks — Restaurant in Asheville

I’m afraid I had a very unpleasant experience at this location today. I had ordered a peppermint mocha frap with no whip. The young man who was making my order proceeded to top it with whip. I asked him to just remove what he could and that would be fine. On my way to my car, I took a sip and realized I had iced coffee that tasted awful — not a frap. I returned to the counter, explained to the young lady who tool my order only to have be a bit curt with me. She told me she would make me another one, turned and snatched a cup from the dispenser slinging another cup into the floor. The young man turned to another counter while making a drink, kicked the cup and picked it up and placed it on the counter. After seeing this, I asked the young lady to let me speak to a manager. She pointed out a young man at the door keeping count of occupancy. When I approached, he was very cordial and told me he was aware she had been a bit hostile toward me. I explained what happened and then explained my concern for the empty cup on the counter that might well be snatched up to make the next drink. He immediately got up to remove that cup. Thankful that he handled it, learned that the young man who messed up my drink was still in training, and upset at the young lady who clearly wasn’t doing her job well... I doubt I’ll go back...

Went in at 7:30pm. I had to wait bc the guy was on his phone talking to someone complaining about work. Then when he finally got off the phone he said he already cleaned espresso machine so I couldn't order that. I said ok asked for a Frappuccino. He then said oh well iv already cleaned that too so no. I asked what could he do. Said not really anything bc it's close to closing time. (30mins). So if it's already cleaned by 7:30pm, they turn everyone away since 7pm? So either I was lied to or they stop serving ppl at 7pm but open till 8pm....

I am here from out of town as part of the Hurricane Helene recovery effort & this Starbucks is open currently. They can’t use the espresso machine because of the water quality currently in the city but the young woman who was working yesterday and the young woman working this morning went above and beyond brewing coffee with gallon waters & making the drinks as close to “normal” as possible.
