I placed an order on 3/20/17 around 7:15 for a 2/$20. Picked the order up in about 15minutes. Upon returning to my hotel which is one parking lot away from Applebees(2 minutes walking) I noticed the boneless wings were cold. My Spinach Artichoke Chicken Cavatappi only had sauce noodles and chicken. No Fried spinach leaves, Parmesan or grape tomatoes. I also requested alfredo which was not in the bag. I called to let them know the specs on the pasta dish was wrong as I had eaten this same dish for the last few weeks at several differnt locations and never had it prepared this way. The togo person I odered with was Savannah, she offered to come and pick it up and bring a dessert to compensate. 15 minutes passed no one had showed up so i called to speak to a manager. I held for 10 minutes the person over the pphone offered to take a message as they couldnt find the manager. So I walked back over with the half made pasta to return it. I walk in and see the manager talking to an employee,i approach him and ask was he the manager and proceeded to show him the entree and asked him what was wrong with it. He said,"I dont see anything wrong with it". So i began to ask him where was Fried spinach leaves, Parmesan or grape tomatoes. He replied very nonchalantly , "Do you want it done over" I replied its been over a hour since i ordered initially and now I would have to wait another 15-20 minutes for something that should have been done correctly the first time,I would have some type of understanding if they were busy but with 3 tables and 2 bar guest there is no excuse. He responded, "What do you want me to do". At this point i was so disgusted and afraid that if I did reordered it could possibly be tampered with. He refunded me $20 no tax as if he were saying take the money and go. Tim Smith gave the worst service I ever received from someone at management level. Savannah did more as a togo person as far as service recovery. Read moreI am aware that you could go to the same restaurant on different times and with different people working and have a totally different experience so I'm not going to say not to go here but one star is definitely higher than the level of experience I had on the evening that I did come here. First of all when I got there everything was okay the waitress took our order and about 12 or 13 minutes later someone brought the order to us. I had the fish and chips which I definitely do not recommend the batter was extremely greasy to the point I was not even going to put it in my mouth so I proceeded to take it all off the fish and the remainder which was the fish inside was far less than the batter so actually my meal was extremely tiny and it came with french fries that were not very good at all and did not appear to be cooked at the proper temperature so my meal was terrible but that's not even the worst part of it. The waitress from the time she took our order we never saw her again I actually wanted another iced tea and she walked by the table and even looked at us once but never even stopped to ask if we needed anything and when it was time to go we waited and waited and she finally showed up and said how is everything to which I replied we're ready to go. The pay at the table machine was not working so she brought a paper check and of course it was another almost 15 minutes before we saw her again to finally pay so basically she did nothing but take our money and write down our order so this was only the third time in my entire life that I did not leave a tip because I left at hungry and actually thirsty to the point where I wanted to go across the street and just get something to drink which is pathetic. Had gotten dinner with a few friends, table of 6 all together, the waitress messed up 2 of our friends (whom are of color) meals and their food came 2x as late as the rest of ours and the manager brought out the correct order, we get the checks and our bill has the correct meal comped out and our friend’s has that theirs is listed as full price plus they over charged us for something listed on the menu. Called over the manager, her name was Jackie, and she corrected our bill and then told us the correct item isn’t affecting the bill for them but the other item they didn’t order is still listed as full price and only offered to fix the receipt when I asked with a eye roll and dirty look. What the manager did then was go to the table behind us (whom was a white couple) which had a messed up alad that the manager brought to them after our order mishap and the manager personally brings up and offers them free desert to go plus offers to go over the bill and made it cheaper for them all within earshot of our table as we’re paying. We weren’t rude, we weren’t demanding and we were patient while our server was nowhere to be found and even when she did come over we had no complaints. When I go to an establishment I expect myself and my guests to be treated fairly, this was not the case and based off of other Applebee’s experiences — I’m considering no longer...
