I have been to numerous locations in VA, NC, and MD., and this one has got to be the filthiest one of all. When I first arrived, I went to use the restroom to wash my hands, and that was dirty. I then proceeded to order my food, and it took probably about 15 minutes until my order was ready, and the restaurant was practically empty with only a few customers. I almost never order a milkshake, but on this particular day I decided to order a strawberry and banana milkshake, which I confirmed to make sure they had the ingredients to market it, and they said they did, but then 15 minutes later they came back to let me know that they were out of bananas, and would it be okay with just strawberry, I said that will be fine. The entire time I ate here the caution wet floor sign is leaning against a wall in they dining room, the trash can is overflowing with trash, and all of the tables are greasy and dirty, and the chairs are all over the place, and not properly placed underneath of the tables correctly. The windows of the restaurant are all smudged up and dirty with fingerprints, and there's a man sleeping in the corner of the restaurant in one of the pictures I posted here, who I'm assuming works here, and I'm guessing he either is starting work shortly or possibly on break at the restaurant and decided to take a nap, snoring as loud as can be in the middle of a restaurant, it's hard to believe what I'm seeing here. I was not going to write a review, but I overheard an elderly retired military man and his wife speak to the manager, and tell him about how the tables were dirty and their food was cold after waiting for 15 minutes and other than a quick apology, he did nothing more to try to appease the customer. Maybe give him back his money back or maybe give him a free meal next time he's in the area, other than saying I'm sorry. To me that was not sufficient after a person just paid money to enjoy a meal with their wife at 70 years old, and then have to walk out and have a miserable dining experience, is far from a good way to do business. I believe this company is a Christian owned company by the music they play in all their locations on their music system. When they first opened up you guys borrowed the my pleasure statement from Chick-fil-A, which I always thought was a little bit tacky, stealing a quote from a competitor, but that's just my opinion. It would be more appropriate to come up with your own catchy tag, but it seems as though that has faded away anyways, and the employees are poorly trained, and the management who came out to talk with these elderly folks had stains of grease and dirt all over his pants and he looked like he worked in the streets. I would definitely encourage whoever owns this company to evaluate my review and act swiftly to correct these issues for the future success of your business. Have a Blessed Day...
Read moreRude interrupting 3 times or more. When I just pulled up in the drive-through, I just drove up. Told the guy hold on. I don't know how many times? But, the only reason I'm making this review?... is because when I got home?... There was absolutely (nothing) on my chicken sandwich but a small piece of chicken, and it wasn't even that cooked very well! It doesn't seem fresh then when I called to try to get my money back or talk to someone? Nothing ever happened out of that either. So, I just wasted my money twenty sum dollars for nothing!! The manager didn't care either! I also called the Home Office! They had no way to compensate me either! The cookout has gone way down in quality of service as well as food! Like I said, there was nothing on this chicken sandwich! Did not order this plain! And I definitely didn't like to pay for this. I paid for 2 meals with the card, but when you called them, there was no way to compensate. They didn't say all they wanted. They'll give you some kind of coupon in the mail. What in the hell is that? How is that gonna feed me? Now, or give me my money back? Or anything?!!... Communication At the Home Office where I complained customer service or whatever you want to call on that phone number, they give you cause the restaurant itself doesn't even answer the phone. It's not listed and the Home Office.Lady said cause the owner didn't want it.Listed, can you imagine? She gave me the number to call to talk to the manager that didn't do any good?!!! This was way too ridiculous to He's even bothered with anymore.I won't be...
Read moreMy wife and I ordered food at 6:42 PM on August 27. The lady that took our order looked out into the dining room at us about every five minutes or so knowing that we hadn’t got our food yet. At about 7:15 she went on break, or to the bathroom, and left the counter empty. I walked up to the counter at 7:20. Another couple walked in and could not order because no one was at the counter. After about five minutes they left about 7:25 over 45 minutes or so after we had ordered a cook, came out of the back and seen me and asked if he could help me at that time. I told him we had been waiting 45 minutes for our food and I showed him my receipt, they never had my order. Meanwhile, the lady came back and he said something to her about us not getting our food. She disappeared, and he took care of us the rest of the night. Within five minutes we had our food. No apologies no freebies nothing my wife and I ate our food, and then we went up to the counter and ordered 4 milkshakes and again no discount no free milkshake for waiting. 45 minutes. Food was OK but I will not be going back. It’s one thing to wait that long on food it’s another thing when people look at you and don’t bother saying anything. We was the only couple in the restaurant and there was no one in the drive-through for at least the last half hour that we was there before we...
