I am not a complainer but on 05/04/24 @ 6:55pm we arrived at the drive through on Claremont in Ashland. A young man with brown hair and glasses was emptying trash. The drive through recording on the speaker said someone would be with us in a few minutes. We sat there and the young man walked in front of our car heading back to the building....we sat there for about 4 minutes then pulled up to the drive through window and saw the young man and a young lady with dark brown hair in a pony tail run from the window to hide. We sat there for a few minutes and when they did not return we pulled out and then we saw them at the counter..after we pulled away. We have been DD fans for a long time and we did not know they closed at 7pm...I understand it's a pain we arrived 4 minutes before closing But when the young man walked in front of us taking the trash cans in he could of said, "sorry we are closed" then when they both ran and hid from us at the window either of them could of said , "we are closed" . I would of understood and said, "Ok sorry'". But to not say anything to us and hide? Really how immature can you be? We have been to both DD's in Ashland and all over in the East Coast and never had an issue until now. Yes we went to DD on Commerce Pkwy and got our Dunkins and got the great service that we...
Read moreOn Tuesday August 14th around 4pm I went inside because my kiddo was begging for one certain type of donut which we rarely ever get. I go to dunking frequently for coffee it’s my one thing I do for myself and that’s about it. I went inside and waited at the front for a few moments with no one coming. Granted the drive thru was busy and I understand. They had one left and finally a lady come to take my order. I told her which one I wanted and the drive thru worker came and took it for another customer while the employee taking my order was standing there. I said I’m going to have to call to see if he wants something different and that I’ve been waiting to be helped and the donut was sold. The donut wasn’t a problem I said I had to see what other kinds they had the girl then proceeded to walk to the back and make comments and mock me about waiting so long over a donut I didn’t need. I asked to speak to the manager and she didn’t care at all and said oh I didn’t hear her and sorry have a good day. I’m so disappointed in how I was treated and yea I may not be small but it wasn’t even for me. Thanks for the great...
Read moreMy family lives about an hour and a half away from Ashland. We love Dukin's here in town so we stop by at the Ashland one on Claremont avenue. I have to say, we have never been to such a nice welcoming and friendly restaurant. On top of the food being so well made prompt and top-notch, Megan who works there was absolutely wonderful to us. We felt welcomed and cared for just as if we were known as regular customers there. I have to say, that anybody who makes someone who is from out of town feel this welcome, it's a five-star plus I couldn't give a higher review if I wanted to. Thank you Megan for making us feel so welcome and we will always be back to your restaurant. You are a great example of how every food service place should be thank...
