I have really no problem with Taco Bell‘s food. However, when it comes to having no working car and having to go get something, only to find the lobby locked when everyone else is open, it could be a problem when you have to go through the drive-through only to find out they don’t allow bikes or pedestrians in the drive-through for safety reasons. I went through Wendy’s with absolutely no problem whatsoever when their lobby was locked and no one complained. The only reason why I had to go through on a bicycle is because the lobby was locked during Covid. Now everyone but Taco Bell seems to have their lobbies open. At least if you’re going to disallow bicycles through the drive-through, at least be willing to unlock the door to hand someone their order or make some other arrangements. I noticed there’s one on Claremont Avenue where I had the problem. No problem with the food, just that one day I had to go through on a bicycle because the lobby was locked and I have no working car. Bad for business when you find out their disallowing bicycles because of something they are not doing to accommodate for bicycles when they choose to keep their lobby is locked. If you’re going to keep your lobby locked, then you’re going to have to allow for bikes through the drive-through or accommodate with deliveries or something. It just makes it look real bad when you keep your lobby locked knowing that everyone has a car only for them to have to remind you that the only reason why that’s like a list I had to come through your drive-through is because your lobby is locked and you refused to unlock it to accommodate for the cyclists and pedestrians. Yes, someone said something to me about being on a bike through the drive-through, but that’s why. It really makes business look bad and now I think I know why many people don’t deal with Taco Bell. I’m sure quite a number do deal with them, but it still makes it look bad when you choose to lock out potentially good customers who may not have working cars and came from whatever they were doing over to your restaurant, only to find your door was locked and they can’t get in which would’ve forced them right into a situation where they had no other choice but to use the drive-through only for you to say some thing about it when they pulled up to get their order. If you’re going to set someone up like that, then you shouldn’t have the right to say nothing when you caused the situation in...
Read moreUpdate- this location is going down hill at full speed! Not sure what is going on but it's bad! Poor management maybe? Definitely poor work ethics by the employees. You can tell they don't care about their quality of work/service. Not going back for awhile. They just can't seem to get it right. In person or mobile orders.
Food is good when it's made correctly. I'm not a fan of the kiosk for ordering. Not everything you can order is on there. But when you have/need to talk to an actual person, they say " um, like, Im not sure what you mean. Um, like, don't you know you can use that touch screen kiosk" . Have had a few employees try to argue ( I don't argue back ) with me when our order is wrong or something is missing. These issues don't happen every time, but are happening...
Read moreI mean, it is Taco Bell, it is what it is with the food and atmosphere. Lol. But I will say that it is considered one of the best Taco Bells within at least 3 hours of here. My sister's partner works for GM in Detroit as an executive. When I first met him and I told him where I lived, he knew about Ashland. I figured that it was for the school or other things. No, it was because of this Taco Bell on Claremont! When they would take the new concept cars to test them with their comparison vehicles. They would drive all of the way from Detroit to this Taco Bell and have lunch, and head back. I have seen it a few times since I have lived out here. They all found this Taco Bell to be the best one. People here are super nice. Some of them should be...
