Baseball's Dairy Diamond — Restaurant in Ashville

The Baseball Dairy Diamond offers a delightful outdoor casual family dining atmosphere with umbrella tables in the front and many tables & chairs in a large designated dining area located on the south side of the building. There is also a cute photo opportunity as they have a giant rocking chair on site. The menu is an extensive offering of all your sport & summer favorites! Pizza, many types of fries, fried mushrooms, hamburgers, hotdogs, tater tots, nachos, slushies, ice cream and much more and don't forget to check out their lunch specials. A little on the pricey side so choose wisely if you have a large order. We ordered 3 Rootbeer Floats. The floats were a perfect blend of rootbeer and ice cream. Very very tasty! The only issue we had was, the base of the cups were somewhat flimsy and so was the drink carrier. In fact, the cups were too tall for the drink carrier we were given... Now this will not affect most people as most people don't leave the premises with their orders so taking your order from the window to a table shouldn't create an issue like we had. Don't let that stop you from taking the Team or family to enjoy this menu and atmosphere at least once... because there aren't many places that you can get all your favorite big ballpark menu options... without the...

Ordered an Italian Sub using their online ordering and asked for extra banana peppers and didn't ask for anything removed from what was suppose to come on sub. When I got back from picking it up (I live 15 minutes away), I realized there was only 6 banana peppers (and the meat) on the sub. Not even Italian dressing. When I tried calling back to get it remade (around 9:00 pm), their phone just sent me to a voicemail service, but indicated they were open until 10:00 pm. Voicemail message even recommends using the online ordering for placing orders. Tried twice more before I decided to just leave voicemail. Their message even said "We will call you back," but it's been 4 days, so I'm leaving a review. As a former employee back in the early days (2003-2004), it saddens me to see the constant issues that seem to plague the new ownership. The use of social media to justify their continual issues doesn't alleviate the problem. I'll just go to another establishment since Ashville/Circleville area has about 25+ places...

Per the manager dialogue with me earlier this evening I’m writing the review to pass some advice along to future, or repeating customers prior to ordering. Please make sure you have the team member repeat back the order in detail. If you order a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, make sure they state pepperoni when the team member repeats the order back.

Check the order before you leave or before the delivery driver leaves. In transparency we did not notice until after they were closed due to my gf taking it for her third shift lunch. So there’s that however I did provide them back with the full unconsumed pizza . They do not remake or refund for their mistakes even if the product was not consumed and you provide a receipt. Unless they know the same day.

Occasionally a great experience but others and I will be bettered prepared for a more successful experience in the future. Great customer service poor policies. Wasted money...
