Sarku Japan — Restaurant in Aspen Hill

I Had the most horrible experience at this restaurant tonight. My husband has allergies to certain foods so he ask just for chicken Teriyaki no rice and no veggies. The cashier laughed at him and proceeded to look at us crazy when placing the order. She even had the nerve to ask some one of her employees if she was allowed to do it! Sadly the employee she asked was the guy that took our order the first time we went there. By this bringing our second time coming we shouldn’t have been treated like this. Not my favorite Sarku. Have been there twice it's opened & both times have not been the best experience. First time they were very disorganized & slightly rude. The 2nd I order two meals chicken lo mein with vegetables w/ with extra chicken & beef & shrimp lo mein w/ extra vegetables & extra beef to go. Food came out pretty fast which was a plus, but upon getting home found that neither order had extra meat added to it. The additional meat was not expensive but the fact that I did pay for extra meat to be added to both meals & neither had any was bothersome because we did ask & pay for it. Food was decent and staff was nice however you have to pay for the Yum Yum sauce, it's not even offered with your meal....who eats hibachi without yum yum sauce? They offered soy and I think a spicy sauce which I gave back because I didn't want it. Yum Yum sauce was $.53 extra, per sauce. I only tried this place because Kobe Japan was closed today, which offers the sauce with your meal as well as everywhere else that I've visited for hibachi. You know when you're expecting something and the location doesn't execute/deliver? That is how I'm feeling, so all that to say I won't...
