Santa Maria Brewing Co. — Restaurant in Atascadero

2 months ago I reached out the the event coordinator at the Atascadero location about utilizing their private party section for a surprise 30th birthday for my sister.

Karen was so helpful and made the process so easy. She sent over all the info and was so open to my ideas and plans as she could tell I was so excited about it.

As we got closer to the party I brought some of my girls friends to help map out the place for decorations and Karen came right down to answer any questions that we had leading up to the party.

The price was very reasonable and they offered some lovely food options. We chose to have a taco bar bar for the party and it was fabulous.

The day of the party was so smooth and wonderful. Karen and her team took great Care of us. They let us come as early as we needed to set up the party. The party ended up being a huge success and I can’t even begin to tell you how helpful the Santa Maria brew team was . Every single server, bar tender, cook, etc was so wonderful and took great care of us

It has been 3 days since the party and I still can’t believe how well the party went and how much fun the atmosphere was. I am so glad we picked Santa Maria brew to be apart of our fun special day.

This place looks amazing and is very clean. Pretty sad I didn't have good service. When I showed up, no one was anyone were around. I thought the place was closed with the lack of staff around. After getting served about 10 minutes after showing up, i was happy with the friendliness of staff. I was then disappointed when I was served my drink and left alone for 30ish minutes. I wanted to order food but wasn't served until several minutes after I finished my drink. I wanted to try the margarita flight and some of the food, but I got so frustrated I just paid and left. Let me start by saying my family members and I have been coming here through the pandemic and beyond, regularly. Although the menu is a bit limited, we always enjoyed the welcoming environment, friendly service, and decent food. We like to support local business, and we always tip over 20%. But yesterday's experience will be our last. We realize it's a beer joint, but if you're going to have a full bar, you should pour decent and reasonably priced drinks. $13 for a shot of whiskey is not reasonable, and the mixed drink pours were not up to par either.
