Curry up and visit Baan Thai!
From the moment I entered Baan Thai, I was instantly transported to a world of authentic Thai flavors and warm hospitality. The restaurant's commitment to "Farm to Table" sourcing and fresh, natural ingredients truly shines through in their diverse menu that boasts some of the most popular and comforting Thai dishes.
However, it is the Yellow Curry that deserves a special mention. This dish alone is worth the visit to Baan Thai. Aromatic, creamy, and bursting with flavors, the Yellow Curry is a perfect blend of spices, coconut milk, and seasonal vegetables. Each bite was an exquisite symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds, leaving me craving for more.
It's evident that Baan Thai's dedication to supporting local and sustainable farms has played a significant role in the unparalleled freshness and quality of their ingredients. The vegetables in the curry were cooked to perfection – tender, yet retaining their natural crunch – and the rich, velvety sauce was the epitome of comfort food.
The ambience at Baan Thai complements the extraordinary culinary experience. The tastefully designed interiors, with hints of Thai art and culture, create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that invites patrons to relax and savor each bite. The attentive and friendly staff further enhance the dining experience, ensuring that your needs are met with genuine care.
You're bound to leave with a satisfied palate and memories that linger long after your meal. Don't miss the opportunity to treat yourself to this gem of a restaurant – your taste buds...
Read moreWe have been many times and the food is always to die for. I have to ding them some stars this time though. There was only one waiter working, and she was being run ragged. Nothing against her at all. They should have had more people. The problem this time was the food :( I got the same thing as always, same spice level and it was not good. The only flavor was the chili sauce for the spice. The eggplant and meat had no flavor. The meat was extremely chewy as well. It was so disappointing. I gave it back and wasn't really given the option to order something different, which was disappointing. I hope they haven't changed chefs.
On our second time, the good was still excellent. The fresh rolls were served a little differently, but we were still not a fan of the plating.
The food here was absolutely delicious! It was extremely flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. We had the Spicy Basil Chicken (hot spice), the Spicy Basil Eggplant with beef (medium spice) and the Beef Noodle Soup. Our appetizer was the fresh rolls. I wasn't a fan of the way they were served, but the taste 100% made up for it! The peanut sauce...
Read moreNew Thai restaurant located in Humble. Decided to give this place a try. The restaurant is very pretty, a little bit tight since I have a big family. The menu is your traditional Thai cuisine though I did not see a drink menu till after I paid out so we all had water since we didn't know what they had.
The food itself is good but not spectacular (I forgot to take a picture of the BBQ pork fried rice). They may want to consider putting the curry in a different bowl since it was almost spilling out. The Eggplant was good but a lot of onions which I like onions but wish there was more Eggplant since it was an Eggplant dish. The BBQ pork on the fried rice was excellent alongside the sauce but not enough vegetables. The biggest downside I found with this restaurant was there was not enough rice and they charge $1.50 for extra so we ended up leaving a lot of the curry left because we ran out of rice.
Overall the food is good and I would recommend however if you are a big rice eater such as myself, this may not be a...
