Update, update!!!!🤬🤬🤬 I decided to give another try after a year of not going at all. I didn't think it could get worst. So cashier, just the upmost worst customer service skills. Cashier does not understand that when you order 6 of something it means half a dozen. Then cashier wants to scold me and say I should of used words that that person understands. Wow! 😳😮 I ask for a refund after being charged each item individually (when it makes more sense to charge by 6 or 12, financially ) and was told no. Then I demanded a refund and then was told fine. Zero stars!!! I'm done with this place. The owner needs to retrain their employees. People save yourself a headache and just go anywhere else!!!!!!! Staff was somewhat friendly. Place looks clean enough. But I have had kolaches & donuts at various different Shipley's in the Humble and the Houston area. The ones here are not good at all. I won't be back. But this time I went shortly before 10am and still the same semi-rude service, cold donuts, and the quality of the donuts were just unexceptable. They were falling apart, pieces missing..I didn't bother eating them due to fear of what made them look like that. At 10am, there should be a smile to greet you, some semi-warm glaze donuts, and the quality that you expect from Shipley's. Read moreWorst place. They apparently close at 6pm . And I went at 5:15pm and she looked at me and did with her hand to her throats that they were closed! Unacceptable !!!! They had 45 minutes to get me. A dozen glazed donuts. And she said no! Shipleys corporate need to come and evaluate their establishment. That was unnecessary and should have better customer service and actually speak to the customer instead of putting their hand on their throat and saying they were closed.
