Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. No host at entry left us feeling a bit awkward until a voice yelled out for us to sit wherever we'd like. Dining area was full with a large group as well as smaller ones throughout. We were only seated a moment before a very nice server took our drink order.

TVs throughout displayed multiple sports. The bar was fairly busy as only a few seats appeared available. The dining room was very busy with only 2 servers holding it all down and people were continuously arriving at a pretty steady pace during our meal.

The meal...OMG! This is why we were there! 2 orders were for the OMG burger... can't go wrong with that one! Huge double patty burgers that had both my boys stuffed full by the time those perfectly cooked fries (curly and regular) with it were done!! I thoroughly enjoyed the Amarillo Firecracker burger---sooo good and the breaded fried jalapenos were so delicious and light - I would eat those as a separate side! And you can also substitute a chicken breast on any of their burgers on the menu.. another plus for healthy options!

Overall, the place was obviously very understaffed during our visit but i must say, the staff that were there were polite and were getting it done! The food was so filling and flavorful! We're glad we stopped but if you're in a rush, you may want to hit a local drive thru. I can guarantee the food won't be as good if...

So to be honest, my family and I Have frequented beefobradys in Georgetown square for probably 10 plus years. In for the vast majority of that time the food and service have been excellent. However the last several trips have been less than comparable. Are most recent experience was tonight whereby We waited 15 minutes for our draft beer drinks which Our drinks arrived in literally dish washer warm glasses. These war premium draft beers and 650 apiece and were not fit to drink. Having ordered our food I waited another 10 or so men as for silverware with my food staring me in the face before the server noticed. Who was not at all my busy night, as I understand how things can get when they are busy. I am not a whiner nor a complainer, Back quite honestly if it were not for the previous years of good service and great food I would not return. I am however willing to give them another chance. My son's, both teenagers enjoy their wings come about the last 4 or 5 times several wings each in their orders I have been so overcooked they were not fit to eat. I hope and trust a review like this reaches the right ears and this improves, as I have been well pleased for a number of years prior to this. Although this review is negative it’s meant to be constructive. I placed a to go order here of two entrees meals. On one of those meals I upgraded to a premium side. I’m not a complainer, and I’m also a tipper, even on to go’s, but in this instance I didn’t receive the side I upgraded to. After I arrived home I noticed I didn’t receive the side I paid additional for, just my entree. So I figured I’d give the restaurant a chance to correct their mistake so I headed back there. I arrived back there about 30 minutes after I originally picked up my order. I walked inside and nicely told them that they had forgot it and that it was okay, and decided to have a seat while they got another one out for me. They brought me a “new” one out and I decided to check it this time, and they handed me the same cold side that they had left on the counter for 35 minutes.. At this point I was just upset having worked in food service myself in the past this was just awful customer service. You had a customer unsatisfied, who walked back in and gave you a second chance to satisfy them, and decided to take the lazy way out. Outside of that, I’d rate the overall food quality of both meals a 5/10. I honestly won’t give a 3rd try, this was my first ever time coming here and I...
