I understand that everyone has an off night and this is not common to the experience Iāve had in the past with this location. I do want to put my last experience out there in hopes that it wonāt happen again and staff will take it as constructive critism.
I called in my order after multiple attempts to order online. I was told it would be 10-15 minutes. I gave it about 10 minutes before leaving my house in Madison County. When I arrive, I went straight to the cashier and gave her my name and told her my order was called in. She then pulled up the order (which btw was $10 more than what it came out as online) and I paid. The cashier then picked up her phone and ran out the door, never looked for my food or gave me my cups to prepare drinks. My daughter and I sat for about 10 minutes, never receiving my cups/food or anything and then I finally walked back up and had to ask for the 3 child size cups to fix drinks. After fixing our drinks, we went back to sit and wait for our food another 10 minutes, which at this point, Iām really irritated because I called it in for it to be ready/almost ready when I got there. So I go back up to the counter and ask how much longer it will be before my order is ready. My order had been sitting in an oven behind the counter the entire timeš. Then, what I assume to be the manager, reprimands her employees in front of us about the situation after getting irritated, trying to rush me my order and dropping 1 of my sandwiches, having to remake it.
Only an apology was made for the delay, but really, that doesnāt help with the fact that my kids /hubby were home, hungry, waiting to eat so they could get ready for bed and this put a delay in our schedule.
I do have to give them major props on the fact that they prepared our order perfectly and made...

I ordered a tuna sandwich on wheat, I really was craving tuna and subway is my go to place for a good tuna sandwich. I immediately regretted it when I saw the sandwich but I was really hungry. As I continue to eat my sandwich I became more and more nauseous to the point that I couldnāt finish it could not bear another bite! There I was left still hungry and very upset, so I decided to give them another chance and buy a brownie. I ate half the brownie and my husband ate the other half. It was good not the best brownie I had but it was good, as soon as we left the place I started feeling not too good a little stomach upset, āso I thought it wasā I was extremely sick and went to the bathroom and vomited everything I ate I was sick the rest of the night very horrible experience. My husband later on that night suffered with diarrhea and upset stomach. To all who is reading this , please do not get the tunafish sandwich we both ate the tunafish sandwich and we both got sick. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to live in walking distance of Firehouse, and my boyfriend and I always received quality food and customer service, even late late at night. The food is consistently better quality than other sub shops around.
However, this review is specifically for the catering service. I cannot brag enough about how easy Firehouse made the entire catering process. First, the order was ready early, which is not the experience I've had from other catering orders in town. I was unsure of how picky my group was, so I asked for tomatoes and mayo on side of the subs and tomatoes and dressing on side for the large salad. They put everything on the side so the ingredients could be compiled by preference of every attendee. Because of this, almost all of the food was eaten at the event.
They also provided forks, plates, cups, napkins, and a bucket of ice. It was the easiest catering process I have ever dealt with, and I will certainly advocate for organizations using this Firehouse in the future.
I wish I could remember the manager's name, because she told me about five times in the process, but she was absolutely the sweetest person to deal...
