Nicer location & building than Bogart. We stopped for a late lunch to find we were the only customers. Orders of 2 pulled pork sandwiches with cole slaw and brunswick stew came up immediately (you order at the counter and take your food to your choice of table...in our case, anywhere!). Chose the honey bbq sauce for my sandwich and put some of my cole slaw on it as well. Unfortunately, I was tasting vinegar in the pork and the cole slaw was grated so fine, it seemed mushy. In my endless search for the best brunswick stew since the best I ever tasted in Griffin, GA over 40 years ago, this one looked tasty but the hot sauce should be left up to the customer as it was a bit overpowering for my taste buds and most Brunswick stews I've had recently all seemed to be too finely ground. There should be a little more "chunks" for texture, whether it be corn or meat. So my search...

I hit them every Friday if I had a good week as a reward. I prefer the Rib Sandwich, fries, Mac n cheese and for desert their banana pudding is something I have to ask forgiveness for as it's sinful. I accept all blessings and thank God for another great day! My prayers to CiC Trump and Our Military for cleaning up a mess decades in the making. Absolutely the best bbq we’ve had in a few years! We used to get it from the location in Macon but retired to Athens 4 years ago and just found them!!!

Warmed up ribs last night(july 5) from purchasing on the 4th of July and they were outstanding!! Melted in my mouth and literally fell off the bone!

So flavorful and not greasy like most of the ribs I’ve ever had!!

Mac n cheese is to die for! And fried okra was awesome!! Chefs kiss to everything!

We dined in for lunch on the 4th and then order bbq and ribs to take home! The Hull Rd location is so quaint and loved having Andy Griffith playing...
