Agree with an earlier review that this place is great for the iced, sweetened, gimmicky coffee person. For those leaning toward drip and plain espressos, I’d recommend steering clear and heading to nearby Buvez instead. Ordered a single shot. Waited an unusually long amount of time for a drink that takes less than a minute to make. Crema was thin, looked like a dead shot. Tasted like one too, overly bitter, little body, no interesting flavors to discern. Had to buy a diet Coke nearby to cleanse my mouth from the after taste. For a place that claims to “dial in the espresso to correct specifications every morning,” I’d start dialing shots in so they taste good. Won’t be back...

Definitely a 4.5. The prices are on par or a bit higher than other places in Athens. Its a cute cafe. Its just a walk-up service window and a patio for sitting with other shops around it. The area is out of the way and difficult to find, and a lot of the other shops are empty so it feels a little strange. HOWEVER, the coffee was fantastic I had a cold brew latte, and it was very flavorful and had many deep notes. My partner has the shaken espresso, and it was also incredible. SUNROOF COFFEE HAS THE BEST COFFEE IN ATHENS… my experience was incredible, the owners are truly the best people and the heart behind the business has me driving 15 mins for this coffee. Options galore, couldn’t decide between what I wanted and one of the owners (Reid) took his time just pointing me in the right direction and I was not disappointed. Ended up getting a bag of coffee too. I will be going back often for every coffee meeting and friend hang. Could not recommend enough to go check this phenomenal establishment out and try it...
