Tonight I had the worst restaurant experience of my life at Logan’s… I have ate here 10+ time with kids in tow each time. I have 3 kids with me tonight, the oldest 15 says they want Logan’s so that’s where we went. We sit down get drinks and rolls served timely. Our waitress is super sweet, as any other time I’ve ate at Logan’s. Our order has been placed maybe 20 minutes when a manager in a red shirt comes to tell me that my children 8 & 2 are bumping the wall and disturbing the customers on the other side, and she then asks can I calm them down. I was a little taken aback but I told her we would happily move to another table. I explained that since they are kids I can’t promise they won’t do that anymore. She said no that’s okay. After this I’m uncomfortable, so I ask my waitress to have them put our food as to go so we can just go eat at home. We wait about 15 minutes and they bring part of my order out on plates, they instantly turn around once they see I had cleaned up the table. I’m waiting for about ten minutes for them to bag it with my son only at the table when I’m brought part of my order. I’m waiting for the rest for about ten more minutes when I start standing by the kitchen door with my crying toddler waiting for my last plate that I’m looking at waiting on one roadie burger. It’s open sitting there so of course it’s cold. It’s off to the side, and noone is finishing it. My son is hungry/ ready to go now so he’s having a fit and I hear something slide in my bag, I think it’s bread in a smaller container, sadly it isn’t. I see the manager who said something to me about the kids and I tell her I want a refund. She says why, and I tell her that she insulted me and my kids, and I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes for one part of our food so the rest is cold. She throws my bag in the trash by the sink and says she’s doing the refund. I leave and can’t find my phone. I’m so upset that I don’t want to go back in so my sister went to see if I left it at the table. No luck but while she was In there the waitress tells her it may be in the trash. The manager also tells her it isn’t her responsibility, which ofc it isn’t. So I go back in to look in the trash, because I’m a single mom and this is an iPhone. I’ve worked in the restaurant field and done dishes many times so I’m not scared of a little trash. I’m telling the manager in a red shirt about how I want to see the trash can and she tells me to get out of the kitchen because I’m not wearing non slips and to meet her around back. I dig through a full can first, no luck. I dig through the second not full can and it’s barely covered up at all. The manager acted as if she had forgotten which can she through my bag in. I said here’s my phone and the manager in the red shirt said, “Well that was instant karma for you, wasn’t it?” So naturally I responded that she could F off, and shot her a bird as I walked off. So it may not be instant karma for you ma’am but I hope it turns out to be some karma for you once people learn how a Logan’s manager treats families with...
Read moreI feel bad leaving a two-star review because the hostess that was there that day at lunch time saw us pull up into the handicap parking spot and walked out to the car to help my father-in-law get out of the car and help him in. She checked in on us the whole time we were there and she made something that was wrong right before we left and I'll explain. It was extremely slow and hardly anybody there. We ordered our food and when everything came out my mother-in-law's sweet potato was completely burnt and it was so burnt that there was hardly any on the inside of the sweet potato. She did her best to try to eat what there was. At the end when the hostess came back over to talk to us and she saw that and she learned that my mother-in-law's salad was too hot for her to eat she guessed that maybe it was the peppercorn in the dressing that caused it. She sent her home with another sweet potato and another salad with my mother-in-law to try to make it right which we truly appreciated. My mother-in-law did say that when she got home and was going to eat the leftovers for dinner that sweet potato was burnt like the first one was however, she tried and we appreciate her trying. She also helped my father-in-law back out to the car when we left. I guess what I'm really surprised at is number one, that it even came out of the kitchen like that and number two that the waitress thought it was okay to put it on the table and leave it there like that after putting butter and cinnamon on it I guess. We were extremely disappointed with the cook and with the waitress that actually brought it out and sat it in front of my mother-in-law like it was normal. The waitress was sweet but we were just surprised that she did that. If I were her I think I would have told my customer what was going on with the sweet potatoes and offered something else. Like I said, they weren't busy. I really didn't see any other customers in there at the time. Other than that my steak salad and my father in laws...
Read more"No Wait"; This is what I was told when I called from a nearby hotel for a reservation...." No Wait" . When my wife and I arrived we were seated. It's Friday at 6 pm. The waitress was new..(she didn't know the price of beer)...but she told us she was new so we adapted along the way...to be clear she was frequently checking back at our table apologizing. None of this was her fault. It was one of those times you just know it's not good.
We ordered around 6:10. Pork Chops for me and Salmon and Shrimp Combo for my wife.
The salads/bread came right out by our waitress as did our drinks. We had noted there was a lot of people sitting at tables with no food? There were six hostesses/host at the front.
We had completed our salads by 6:20 or so. More bread came. Time passed. More time passed. We noted that a woman in a red shirt who was carrying a young child on her hip was walking around in the kitchen. Waitress came by to apologize at least twice as there was confusion with expediting in the kitchen. Orders were not coming out in the order they had been placed? New people...
Finally at 7 pm we were about to just pay for our drinks and salads and leave. We noted one man had returned his overcooked steak and eaten the rest of his meal before his steak came back. Just as we were talking about leaving the waitress said we were two tables away from getting our food? We stayed..about ten minutes later at 7:10 our food arrived. The food was good...with a couple of acceptable exceptions. (We were hungry so it did not matter). The lady in the red shirt carrying a child...was still trying to get things moving in the Kitchen? we finished our meal and now it was more time "waiting" to pay and leave?
My advice is Don't Wait and Don't Go to eat here...until they get someone who can manage. They could not properly handle the customers because the seating was fast, and the kitchen was very slow. Anytime a steak restaurant tells you " No Wait" come on...
