Tonight my 2 sons and I went to this McD’s. The line was long, but I just thought, “It’s Friday”. After we order our food at the kiosk, I realize what is going on as I hear several customers telling the manager what they were needing to fix their orders. Apparently there was a screw up in the drive thru that left about 10-15 people getting their order messed up and the manager was working to fix them.
Our order ended up taking 35 minutes to get out to us. I wasn’t upset by it because I knew they were having issues. HOWEVER, what I was upset about was the severely rude and disrespectful cashier.
When we finally got our order I immediately noticed we were missing our kids drink for my youngest’s happy meal. I told the lady at the front, “I’m sorry, we’re missing a kids drink”
She says, “I know,” and walks off…
After several minutes my 4 year old says, “Daddy, I’m missing my drink still.”
FINALLY, the front desk worker comes back with 3 kids drinks. 2 for another order and 1 for us apparently. She had brought us out what looked to be a coke or Dr Pepper… we ordered a Sprite…I tell the lady at the front, “I’m sorry, that’s supposed to be a Sprite.” She audibly huffs and takes it to fix it.
In the mean time, my 8 year old has looked through our bag and realized his 10 pc nuggets were missing… the lady brings back the Sprite and sits it on the counter. I then inform her, “I’m sorry, we are also missing our 10pc nugget.” Again, another huff and no comment. She goes and gets the nuggets, puts them in a bag, and with me standing DIRECTLY in front of the counter, proceeds to pitch them to the counter from 2 foot away without saying a word and walks off. RUDE.
I get back to the table finally with everyone’s food. My youngest opens his Happy Meal, and his 4 pc nugget meal turns out to be a 3 pc… we didn’t say anything about this one. I open my DQP meal and the patties look like that have been run over by a steam roller (picture attached), it was cold, and my fries were cold…
Speaking with the other patrons who were there at the time, one families meal was also wrong, and again, the lady at the desk was rude. Another lady eventually asked for a refund, not because of the delay on food, but because of the lack of respect from the cashier…
Mistakes happen, but you can’t let your company’s mistakes spill over into you being downright rude to the customer....
Read moreI don't care for this McDonald's in particular. Nothing is ever right. On one occasion, I've had them hand me out someone else's food, when I opened the bag to peep at the food to double-check before driving off, I noticed it wasn't my order, so I tapped on the window to let the cashier know it was incorrect. She told me she couldn't take back the order, so to hold on to it, due to COVID policy. I get it with the COVID policy, so no big deal but it was just another example of orders not being correct and handing food out without a care to who it goes to or what it is. Today, I placed a mobile app order to pick up in the drive thru. Typically I'll be asked for the order number or give the order number when I pull up to the speaker, but this time the girl working the headset just said, "Okay, pull forward." Yeah, my gut told me at that point something was probably going to be incorrect at pickup. I pull up to the first window and the cashier doesn't even know what my order is or know where to find it - she had to ask me what was in it, although she knew the name my mobile order was under. Then, I get to the second window, at this point I've got to return back to work, and I'm handed out one beverage and a food bag. I was supposed to have a large iced coffee, a sweet tea, and a large chicken sandwich meal with bacon and cheese added. I pull off and check the bag and drink when I get back to work: it's a chicken sandwich (no bacon or cheese, as paid additional for), a medium fry, no iced coffee, and a diet Coke. Gee... thanks. This problem could easily be solved with verifying what the order is with the customer at the second window and checking the bag(s) before handing them out the window, but this seems to be an ongoing problem at...
Read moreevery time I eat here I am rushed at the drive thru. They never let me finish with my order and when I pull up there very rude. I have had them shut the window while I'm asking for my receipt or napkins since I never get those anyway from them which I feel I should not have to ask for those items. And while on two occasions I was waiting and watched the manager stand in front of me by the door light a cigarette and puff it a couple of times and then she would flick it into the parking lot right in front of my car. The image alone is not pleasant. I went back thinking it was just a bad night and thought I would try it again on different nights and I went four different times and it got worse every time. My family and I have decided we will not be visiting McDonald's any more none of them. We eat out alot due to our schedules and I write alot of reviews on places I visit and this one is not a favorite of mine sadly to say. I have eaten at places even though the food was not that great but the attitude of the workers was awesome and that alone made me come back. Poor attitude will destroy the reputation of any business quicker than the food will in my opinion. I mean, if you hate your job that bad, quit. Let someone else that needs a job have it and move on to something else where you don't speak with people or customers. Sorry Ronald McDonald but you need to weed through the bad apples you have before I will return and spend my hard earned money eating...
