Very good food, the salsa here is second only to my mother's. The chips are fresh, which in combination to the salsa leaves you anticipating the meal. When my faijta plate got there I was not disappointed. Not only was the meal cheaper than the competition, it had more quantity and quality. The meat was juicy, well seasoned, and hot!
The food took quite some time to get to my table, in comparison to other restaurants. The waiter was kind and quick about their service. I suppose the time it took for it to be cooked was around 15-25 minutes, which isn't too bad.
The atmosphere lives up to the name Mi Casa, reminded me alot of my abuela's house. It doesn't really look like a restaurant when you arrive. I thought I made a wrong turn into someones house (lol).
Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who is passing through with a crying stomach, this place is a great comfort...
Read moreA wonderful restaurant kind of hidden in the back. My pictures don't do it justice. The food was amazing. I tried something new. 7 seas... Wow... it was amazing. A variety of seafood in a soup seasoned to perfection. Shells, pollock, crab legs, shrimp, octopus, and squid... it was heaven in my face. I drank most of the broth as well. Don't drop your shells back into the broth. Staff were awesome and super helpful. The location is super clean as well. The best part is that you can smell the goodness from the parking lot. You'll be drooling by the time you get inside. They have a lot of non-toxic mexico drinks by coke, pepsi, and 7up. And my personal favorite Jarritos as well. Wonderful location, and it was awesome meeting you all. Absolutely...
Read moreFood was very good. Menu not as extensive as other similar restaurants. I had the taco/burrito combo plate. Three different meats - spicy pork taco (not spicy), chorizo (okay) and barbacoa (actual head, best of the three). The head was very flavorful, moist and tender. I wouldn't get the burrito again as it was half rice and the combo comes with rice and beans (double down). Tacos are traditional street fare style - fresh homemade corn tortillas (a big plus). House made green (warm) and red salsa (hot). No automatic chips and salsa (bummer) - probably a good thing as no one finished...
