I was a vendor at the Halloween Fest this year. I’m vegan so I didn’t have many food options besides Arden’s Garden. I ended up spending over $100 there in 2 days. I purchased juices smoothies and snacks. On Sunday, I purchased 2 smoothies and a juice. I ordered an add on for peanut butter for additional protein. I had an entire conversation with the cashier about the PB and cinnamon which they did not have, my smoothie was made with no PB and I asked the young lady who made it and she responded “oh PB wasn’t on the ticket”. I replied, “can we add it, I need PB”. She shrugged her shoulders and stated no, and turned to continue making smoothies. I looked at the cashier and she shrugged her shoulders. As I left, I tasted the smoothie and it tasted like pure banana. I returned to my tent due to the business picking up following the parade. At the end of the night, I returned with the full smoothie that I did not drink. I asked if they were closed and she replied, no. I politely expressed to the staff member that I did not drink it because It was pure banana. She asked me what she could do to assist me. I requested for a new one with PB added. She stated that she had already cleaned up and was not making anymore smoothies. I stated, “I thought you were still open, could I exchange it for a juice, I did not drink it at all and I prefer not to do refunds.” She stated yes, you can get a juice. I grabbed a juice and replied thank you as I turned to leave, she stated that I would still have to pay for the juice. I replied, “ my smoothie was made incorrectly, you refused to remake it and you will not exchange it, let’s do a refund”. She stated that they did not do refunds. I replied, “ well when you asked me what you could do to help me, what were my options.” She stated “I’m sorry, I don’t know.” I left with no juice, no smoothie, no refund, and still hungry, after spending over $60 there that day. I have always been a huge fan and supporter of Arden’s products. That experience was extremely distasteful inconvenient especially after vending all day and spending so much money...
Read moreI have held off on writing this review because I love Arden’s garden so much, but the staff at this location are just horrendous. They are not kind, they don’t listen, they’re argumentative, and they are very poor at their roles overall.
The young lady that wears glasses, a hat, red hair is so rude. She is Black and I’ve had poor interactions with her more times than I care to share. She put the wrong fruit in my smoothie and she acted as if though I did something wrong. Her attitude was terrible. She forgot one scoop of peanut butter so she decided to load as much peanut butter as possible in my smoothie, being condescending.
Today, there was a short middle aged white lady in there helping as well and she was no help. She was very matter of fact and also rude. They piled protein and peanut butter at the BOTTOM of my smoothie. The base goes at the Bottom but ms know it all insisted that was the best way to do it so I stood there for 15 WHOLE minutes watching her load my smoothie with pineapple juice trying to force it to blend. It wouldn’t blend, lol so she emptied half the smoothie out and put MORE pineapple juice to blend the rest. If I wanted a pineapple juice, I would’ve bought one. So all the protein and peanut butter I paid extra for… were left in the bottom of the blender. I’m here atleast once a week and I hate when either of them are working.
This is a health food store. I expect the vibes to be much more welcoming (as they are at other locations). They are tainting the brand and I can’t stand it. I will not be back at this location and I will be contacting corporate,...
Read moreBuyer BEWARE.The juices sold at ardens garden have changed. At least, anything with apples in it. Not sure why they made the change without letting the consumer know first because my body knew immediately. I specifically buy directly from A.G. because they have a raw foods license and their juices sold at Kroger or whole foods have been pasteurized/processed to maintain a longer shelf life. Fresh juice shouldn't last for months. I actually forgot a bottle in my fridge and it has yet to spoil from a November purchase. A product bought in January shouldn't last into march if it's truly fresh. Between the extended shelf life and my body simply knowing the difference I'm really let down. I want the same fresh juice that was once available that is unaltered and full of nutrients. Ardens garden used to be the healthiest option for me but not anymore. Check the dates on your bottles before you buy and ardens garden please be more forthcoming with your...
