To the overweight, 5’0 security guard at the front door who had on a ski mask but yet i could still smell his breath through it & it smelled like he was eating poop all day and who takes his job way to seriously for the most minor minuscule issue such as a vape not being allowed in, this review is for you as well because you were the cherry on top of my horrible experience on 05/05/25. I went to blu cantina for cinco de mayo. I expected it to be crowded ok cool that’s no problem. I get in there they were “sold out” of hookahs & “sold out” of glass cups..red flag number one but we were like okay whatever and we order a different drink & this was attempt number ONE in asking the waiter can we be notified when a hookah becomes available she states YES & that she’d let the hookah girl know. Also keep in mind we have scanned the room so we know who has already been in there and who just got there. We find somewhere to stand we order shots, drinks, AND food. We notice that the table behind us that got there way after us got a hookah before us so we notify the hookah girl that we were there first and we’ve been waiting on one and for her to come over. She acts as if she doesn’t know what’s going on but states that one should be ready soon and that we were 4th in line for one we say ok thank you and charge that to the game. We order more shots to kill time and vibe. We see about 5/6 different hookahs being brought out so we’re like okayyyyy did we get skipped at this point. Mind you I SEE SOMEBODY IN THERE SMOKING A VAPE. KEEP IN MIND, MINE WAS TAKEN AT THE DOOR (the security said he had to take it but that he’ll hold on to it and give it to me at the end). At this point I’m getting mad because we spent a good amount of money for poor service. I then grab the manager. I let her know what was going on such as us getting skipped. I also asked her “Well if yall aren’t going to let us purchase a hookah y’all might as well have let me bring my vape in. Especially because it’s somebody in here smoking one right now” instead of her simply being a manager and trying to fix the problem or get us situated with a hookah that we’ve already been waiting on for almost two hours now she wanted me to point out the person in there who had their vape and then told us to wait another 30 mins for a hookah..BE FR AND DON’T PISS ME OFF. I’m not about to beg y’all to take my money so at this point me & the two other people that I was with LEFT. I had to stop by the “security guard” to grab my vape. He was very rude for one but he kept checking his pockets pulling out EVERYBODY ELSE VAPE EXCEPT MINE so I’m like ummm neither of those are mine, you don’t have it? He’s not saying anything but he’s patting his pockets. I told him what it looks like and he kind of brushed me off and started checking people at the door to let them in so I stand to the side for about 10 mins to let him do so but at this point it’s truly getting ridiculous. I go up to him AGAIN and say do you have it or not, if not I’m leaving. He starts getting loud asking me “WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE!!!?” MIND YOU I’VE ALREADY TOLD HIM WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE. JUST SAY YOU LOST IT OR GAVE IT AWAY TF. At this point I walk away because my experience was just truly UNACCEPTABLE & the true definition of poor management and poor service. How did you lose my vape in those big a** pockets of yours? If you know y’all are going to confiscate vapes then the proper thing to do is have a BOWL or BUCKET to place them in, not his unsanitary big dusty pant pockets. I gave my vape to him with no problem it should have been returned WITH NO PROBLEM. He was giving me attitude because he lost my stuff like huh? Mind you he had other peoples vapes IN HIS POCKET so did you give my vape to the wrong person? THAT’S DISGUSTING for one and two you’re mad unprofessional. A vape is replaceable but it’s the PRINCIPLE. You go to an establishment, spend your money with them, receive poor service, and when you go outside your property is lost and there’s no resolution to any of...
Read moreMy experience has been horrible the last 3 times I’ve been here . Bre and the manager Scarlett have been HORRIBLE towards me & a friend I brought here as well , after compliments of their service . “Picture will be posted of his responses as well” The energy is always OFF and I worked in customer service as well , so I KNOW the service is TERRIBLE . I won’t be dining here anytime soon or unless it’s happy hour and even then it’s … questionable? The manager plays favoritism here and would rather be her employees “friend” rather than their boss and the manager of an establishment & I’m not particularly fond of that kind of unprofessionalism, when I’m spending my hard earned money in an establishment. In fact that’s my biggest pet peeve when it comes to major restaurants . I have had HORRIBLE experiences here for the last THREE times I have dined here . Iyanna has given me exceptional service every time even when I’m not seated in her particular area! Anyone else I would recommend replacing IMMEDIATELY(Bre and Scarlett) because they’ve established an unprofessional relationship and put that before the needs of the customers and the business itself … extremely unprofessional and bad for business. Thats my HONEST customer service opinion as a fellow manger or a large chain. By far the worse customer service I’ve ever had from the east Atlanta location or any other business for that matter and I can’t get in contact with ANYONE from corporate. I spent $90 + on food and then an additional $20 + on tips out of RESPECT for the business and my server Iyanna who has always been kind and accommodating . I was speaking “personally” with one of the bartenders about the service I received, BEFORE paying my tab and tipping and was told I needed to leave after being insulted by the other bartender that had been poorly servicing me and a friend and had been blatantly antagonizing me. I have brought the poor service to the managers attention and it was BLATANTLY ignored and I was highly embarrassed to have another EMPLOYEE and not SECURITY come and escort me out for a private conversation that was being held with my server, who was MORE THAN ACCOMMODATING, & had EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! However, the manager, Scarlett and bartender Bre … had HORRIBLE service and I have WITNESSES TO ATTEST to this statement! I AM HIGHLY disappointed because I’m a store manager as well and this .. WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT THE WAY TO HANDLE THIS ! The first time i complained the manger Scarlett’s solution was not to correct the employees behavior but to instead brush it off and tell me “well maybe you should just sit in another section instead” … excuse me ?! Scarlett and Bre need retraining &/or demotions based on their poor performances for WEEKS. I brought my friend , who’s a process at Howard, and he EQUALLY as dissatisfied with the service of the bartender Bre and the solutions provided by the manager Scarlett . We are both business men well into our careers and are 30 + so we’re very familiar with professional and professionalism and workplace etiquette … this was not it and I was humiliated and embarrassed after being antagonized by the bartender for a previous complaint I filed but I guess that my fault for giving them a THIRD chance … I’m the fool at this point and should have...
Read moreWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!! So DISAPPOINTED in this new location. Came here to celebrate my birthday with friends and it couldn’t have been more of a mistake. There were hardly people there when we showed up. We placed our order and our food came out in cycles opposed to everyone’s food coming out at the same time. My friend ordered a drink from the bar and after 20 minutes, she decided to cancel it because she couldn’t understand why all of the food had arrived before she received a simple Moscow mule. The waiter never offered the rest of us water as we waited for our food so we consumed our entire meals without any beverages. I had to ask for the check and a water at the same time and I still received the check before the waiter brought me a water to-go. Also, as we were eating, an EXTREMELY RUDE waitress insisted that we consolidate our party to one table, to accommodate a party of 10, even after explaining that that we had more people on the way to the restaraunt. In response, I asked “how will we accommodate the rest of our party once they arrive?” Her poorly trained response coupled with cynicism and attitude was “We’ll just have to move you to another table!” Please keep in mind that we had just begun eating, as she forcibly snatched table away from us, with me barely having time to grab my food off of it, while my friend is still sitting there waiting on the drink that never arrived. When we asked for the manager, he came to our table and listened to our complaint and NEVER APOLOGIZED about the inconvenience! He just nonchalantly said that he would talk to the RUDE and ATTITUDINAL waitress about the incident and never did as far as we saw for the duration of our visit. She wasn’t even serving our table and she continued to walk by our table looking at us with an attitude and talked to he other servers about the exchange while drawing their attention to our table. When our actual waiter brought the check to the table, it included the entire check for the table next to us and the drink that my friend had cancelled due to extended wait time. This led to us waiting another 10 minutes before we received an accurate bill for our visit, and once again the manager was aware of this incident and did NOTHING to compensate for this inconvenience. This was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and since there is no way of contacting a corporate office to complain over the manager on duty’s authority, I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS...
