Let’s talk about EAV That & Sushi real quick. I’ve never really been a Thai food eater. I’ll eat it if that’s what the majority wants but I’ve never been the one to have to have it. Baby listen, EAV That & Sushi has me in a choke hold as the food is AMAZNG!!!! We were in the area as Shaunie said it is one of her favorite places to go, as such, we went. Walking in, the ambiance is really low key and has a great feel to it. It’s perfect for friends, dates, or even alone. After we walked in we were able to be seated immediately. Continuing to take in the ambiance, the feel was so chill. There was a game on each television and the music was playing in the background. Yep, I’m here for all of this. Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu. Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂 From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. If you’re in the area and ready to eat, you can not go wrong with EAV That & Sushi.

I found this place one evening and decided to give it a try ( about 9pm on a Saturday) the restaurant was crowded, which seemingly was a good thing. After being seated almost immediately. We got our server Lilly who was absolutely horrible! After literally 12 minutes of waiting I stopped another server to get water /place settings. Lilly finally came over to take the initial drink and appetizer order. A Manhatten and the spring rolls. After another 12-15 minutes the spring rolls came out before the drinks. Lilly came over to the table and I re-ordered the drinks and ordered the meal ( the spicy redfish). Another 5-10 minutes went by and I asked another employee for the manager. He immediately apologized and offered a couple shots for the inconvenience. Unfortunately the service from Lilly didn't get any better. The food was brought out by another employee and after Finnishing the meal Lilly came over to ask about a to-go box. I told her to take the drinks off of the check. She told me "he's making the now" I told her that it should never takes an hour and half to make 2 drinks. The only thing you brought and immediately followed up on was the check. The food itself was a little on the bland side and needed season badly. I probably will not give the a second chance... what a shame because the place had a good atmosphere..

I can truly appreciate why this place garners such glowing reviews. I savored an array of delightful drinks, and after just one colossal 20-ounce frozen margarita, I felt as if I had enjoyed the effects of five! It was an incredible value for such a tasty treat. Every dish was remarkable, from the perfectly crispy shrimp egg rolls to the tantalizing sushi rolls, and the Bangkok fried rice was an absolute standout. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a restaurant. The ambience was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and a vibrant atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming environment that set the tone for a fabulous evening. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night, a lively ladies' night out, or even a solo adventure at the bar, this place fits the bill perfectly. It has such a cool vibe that I can’t wait to return next week for more unforgettable moments!

I JUST had the WORST experience!

I walked into this establishment despite my FIRST encounter to order the dish I had previously because DESPITE the poor customer service, the food was delicious. I was directed to the bar by a charming hostess and that's where the "good" ends.

I preceded to glance over the menu searching for what I had previously ordered, the bartender asked "what she could do for me" I informed her I wanted to place an order to go....

20 mins elasped before she returned. I attempted to explain to her the dish I wanted and she informed me that option wasn't available, apologized she couldn't help me AND WALKED OFF. I ignored this, and decided to try something else.

The blonde bartender precedes to send her "manager" over to take my order, because I was frustrating I guess. He doesn't greet me or asks how he can help... he simply asks in BROKEN ENGLISH "you order or NOT??"

Once I place my order... I seriously considered NOT waiting... but decided to pay for my food and NOT return! WHAT A MISTAKE!!??

They bring my food out, much to the outrage of the customer beside me who had been waiting 45 mins prior to my arrival.... BUT THIS STORY ISN'T OVER!!!

The blonde bartender returns with a handwritten receipt and asks for my I.D. and informs me they have to "write all of my information down because the computer system was down."

I told her I wasn't comfortable with my debit card number being written to which she sharply asks "well, you got cash".... when I replied No.... she snatched the hand written receipt from my hand, snatched the food, rolled her eyes AND WALKED AWAY.

Keep this in mind: there is an ATM down the street.... I could've gotten cash from there... I also should have been notified this was the plan PRIOR to MY ORDER BEING TAKEN!!

The disgusting attitude and behavior of the STAFF is incredibly poor and I'll DRIVE to North Druid Hills for Top Spice before I EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!!!!!!!

Not to mention, I'm not sure,... but I THINK they wrote down my card info ANYWAY... and God help them IF THEY DID! I plan on contacting VISA as soon as I write this REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

decent FOOD,...

Let's just get right to it, here's what happened: we walk in and ask the friendly hostess if we could sit on the outdoor side; she says that they're closing that part, yet almost 2 hrs later when we leave, people were still out there eating but I digress. We order-- my cousin orders Thai fried rice w/scallops, me--panang curry with chicken & scallops. We both order side salads. After a short wait, an Asian lady comes from the kitchen with our orders. My cousin starts eating but I can't because I have a small covered bowl of rice and a giant bowl of my panang curry dish. I need a plate but just before our food is served, we see our server hurry out the front door, we're thinking she had a patio customer to attend to, that she forgot. After she was gone so long, and before my rice gets colder, I go to the bar near the kitchen door and ask the bartender for a plate. The server decides to return, I ask for a serving spoon because I still can't serve myself without that. She brings it, we ask where she went, she says "for a walk" 😳. Then as we eat, I suppose a friend of the server's, enters the restaurant, she throws caution & sanitation to the wind and gives her a big hug, then comes to check on us. She then brings our side salads that we tell her were MIA. Another friend enters, they too receive a bear hug, then she returns to serving food. Mind you, we watch her, and after she went for a walk, then greeted one, then another friend with hugs, we never once saw her go the restroom to wash her hands nor grab hand sanitizer. The capper, you ask? As we leave, said hostess/server was outside the front door AGAIN, this time rubbing and petting...
