I recently had a very disappointing experience at a Chick-fil-A location, and I feel compelled to share my negative review. Upon arriving at the drive-thru, I was instructed to pull forward and park, with the promise that my sandwich would be brought out to me shortly. Little did I know that this simple request would turn into a frustrating and unpleasant ordeal.
First and foremost, the team member named Linus at this Chick-fil-A was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I expressed my confusion about being asked to park, they provided no explanation or reassurance. Their attitude was condescending and uncaring, as if my concerns were of no importance to them. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior in a place that prides itself on providing excellent customer service.
To make matters worse, despite being parked for a whopping 10 minutes, no one came to rectify the situation or offer an update on my order. When the employee named “Linus” brought my Sandwich out. I politely asked him for the inconvenience of me having to wait could I be accommodated with a small fry. He was dismissive, rude & told me to drive back through the drive thru & pay for one. His tone was very nasty! This level of apathy is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the Chick-fil-A brand.
What disappointed me the most was the complete lack of effort to accommodate or rectify the situation from the Manager "ALYSSA" Instead of her taking responsibility for the inconvenience caused, the manager seemed content to make me as if I was crazy for asking for a small fry to accommodate for the terrible experience that happened in less than 30 minutes. Even a simple apology or a genuine effort to make things right would have gone a long way in salvaging my experience, but it was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for Alyssa or Linus!
Lastly , my sandwich was very small & not even fresh!
Overall, my experience at this Chick-fil-A was extremely disappointing. Being pulled forward and parked for a whooping 10 minutes without any attempt to accommodate or rectify the situation was frustrating enough, but the rude and dismissive behavior of the team members made it an even worse experience. I've been to many different locations and never have I experience such Poor Customer Service from a location, especially the night before the super bowl, and business was unusually slow, so there's no excuse. I ordered through the drive thru and the guy taking my order was rude and rushing me off as if they were busy and didnt read back my order which was a #5 with a Sprite and a cup a water 3 cfa sauce 1 ketchup 1 mayo. I get to the window they only kept mentioning the drinks as if that was a big deal. I had to mention the sauce 3 times at the window but that's somewhat normal. I left but when I got to my destination I realize they didnt give me straws for my drinks nor napkins. The food was ok but that's pretty much any chick-fil-a. The service just threw me completely off. I just expected more since it was unusually slow. Working at Chick-fil-A, we're known for our 2nd mile service, and now that I think of it, I didnt hear "My Pleasure" and I still say "My Pleasure" to this day and I'm 27 now. I know the drill and the guys seemed to be teenagers too so they could've been new but if that's case, management may want to think about putting someone more capable of talking to customers the Chick-fil-A way. Read moreObviously, I, as most of us who live in the south and even those who don’t LOVE chick-fil-a and it really doesn’t take much to please. The food is almost always on point from one CFA to the next, however, I can’t help but say that this particular location has let me down on so many occasions. I’ve been trying to just let things go but tonight was kind of the last straw. I frequent weekly on Tuesday nights right after ballet lets out for the kids and it’s around 5:00. Tonight my sauces were kind of tossed at me (not with Attitude but like “here, I’ve got other things to deal with”). I also then received my food before my drinks. I waited a sec to see if they’d come and they didn’t. I went up and they handed me the kids milks and then poured my soft drink but handed it to me with it dripping down the sides and then I noticed a hair in the midst. My kids nuggets seemed relatively fresh but my number one was Luke warm and a tad dry... my food is always mediocre at this rate when I come in at this time and it’s just disappointing.... CFA is a treat and I look forward to the quality I know it possesses and it’s just disappointing.
