Bought my daughter a new squishy unicorn to replace the squishy toy her brother bit through that we bought at another Learning Express location. I should have checked to see if the squishy was branded, but she was excited about it so we paid and left. She pulled it out of the package and the paint was coming off in strips. We decided to return to the store and were greeted by an unhelpful employee at the register who gave the feel that a defective toy is our problem, not theirs. I asked for the manager and she came over and stretched the toy, looking for damage. There was none from being stretched, but when she accidentally peeled much of the paint off, she realized it was her issue, not mine. She did then continue to stretch it until it was broken before asking if I just wanted to keep it as there were no more unicorns or get a refund. I had a sad four year old in the car, and accepted a penguin instead and realized all their products of this type were knock offs, not what we purchased elsewhere.
End of the world? No, justification for ordering from Amazon. Yeah. Got branded squishes for less than half of what I paid for...

There were 3 staff members, myself and one other customer. No greeting from any of the staff members. The other customer was at the register while I wandered around looking for items for a 1 year old. After about 10-15 minutes of looking, I got a bit overwhelmed.
