I lived in Atlanta 12 years a few years back, I use to work at the discount mall back when I did and I ALWAYS ate here. I can’t in town for a reunion and BRAGGED about the wonderful service and absolutely amazing food. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED when I received EXTREMELY poor service from the hoodrat working behind the counter. When we walked in nobody was in the lobby the lady was wiping tables ( she NEVER spoke) once we stood at the counter a few minutes she finally made her way to us and aggressively asked were we ready to order. I hesitated but I placed my order, she gave me my receipt I realized she didn’t get it right when I let her know she said ( WITH AN ATTITUDE) you never said that and tried to argue with me about what I know I said. I let it go she took my moms order (still with her stank attitude). Listen by now I’m literally BOILING inside because I hate poor customer service especially when we did not a thing wrong. When we got our food of course it was wrong when we said something she just took it to the back. She took other orders from the barber shop ppl next door laughed , smiled asked did they need condiments but all she asked us was ranch or blue cheese. I asked for water with my food she gave me a cup the lady after us asked for water she asked bottle or cup . I mentioned to my mom there is also another chicken place I like over here why the workers say I can refund you and y’all can go there. BUT STILL I WE PROCESSED TO WAIT for our food bc we had screaming kids in the car. Long story short I will never come back not that they cared but I am just disgusted at the service we received. I don’t know if this lady knows me from 2010 when I lived here before but she left a bad taste in my mouth. I was going to leave this issue alone but after thinking about it we spent $54 between the both for us and for poor service after traveling 11 hrs for the wrong food yeah it will forever be a ...
Read moreI use to be a regular at this establishment before they changed owners. Even after they changed I still use to order quite alot. It was my daughter’s birthday so I wanted to order wing and fries for her class and take it to her school. They kids normally have lunch at 11:30am so I asked the cashier what time does he think 75 wings will be ready since they start cooking at 11am. He said he didnt know. I asked him if he could ask the chef since i needed to know if the wings would be ready for me to take it to my kids school in time for their lunch time. He said because of a language barrier he cant ask the chef’s. I then asked him who will know if the would be ready by11:30am. He said that he will need to call the owner to find out if they could fill my order. He then proceed to call the owner and asked if my 75 wings could be ready for 11:30am. The manager said they could fill my order and enquired if i was going to pay for the order one time. I told the cashier yes i’ll be paying for my order immediately. I then asked the cashier how many kids would the largest size of fries feed since i wanted to get fries also for the kids. He then said he didnt know. I told him I wanted fries for 25 kids so i needed to know how many of the largest size I’ll need to get. He then started to give me attitude and proceeded to show me an empty box and said thats the box the fries came in. I asked him if he could then call the owner and find out since he doesn’t know anything thats going on in the store. He got upset and replied that the owner doesn’t know also. I just told him thank you, turned around and left. I would refuse to spend my hard earned money at an establishment where I’m treated like I’m begging...
Read morePrior to today this place had been excellent on every level. Quality of food and portions, and restaurant cleanliness. My husband and I are vegetarians and this is one of the few restaurants in the neighborhood that has delicious vegetable fried rice, therefore, we are regular customers here. Today, we decided to get sweet potato fries, egg rolls and jalapeno poppers in addition to our usual rice order. Everything was great except the jalapeno poppers, they were outdated, tried to bite them and the pepper slid out of the crust. The pepper itself could not be bitten or chewed. I politely took the food back to the counter and told the guy that they were old and he immediately be came defensive and told me no manager was there but he would call. I returned to the table where we were eating and waited. Minutes later, he said ma'am there's nothing we can do about it. I was insulted, I expected an apology or some reasonable accommodation. I then told the clerk to throw those poppers away and return the tip I left him from his jar. He became aggressive and loud and asked me to leave the store. He grabbed his tip jar and returned my $2.00. I returned to the table packed up my remaining food and left. This was a horrible experience and I think the clerk should have been more understanding and less rude. He has horrible customer service. Although the food is very good except those jalapeno poppers; I will not be frequenting there anymore because of him. What happened to the sweet little black girl and the Asian lady that are usually there? Better get them back or you are sure to lose more customers in...
