Okay so I’m not normally one to complain because I’ve worked in the food industry before, I also understand we’re human, we all make mistakes but at the same time, it’s only a mistake if you learn from it, with that being said, I go to this McDonald’s about 4-5 times a week and every single time I go, there’s always an issue with my order, either items missing or things just blantantly being wrong, but I guess that’s my mistake for trusting that someone who works at McDonald’s is competent enough to read a ticket and count the items to make sure the order is correct, I worked in food service for 5+ years so I know it is not that hard especially when they’re not even busy, I would be more understanding if I went at the busy times but I don’t, I wait until they’re not busy so that there will be a lesser chance of there being a mistake, but it NEVER fails, there was one time that I ordered a chicken sandwich with no pickles, they put pickles no tomato, so I went back through to get it fixed and when I opened the second sandwich, the patty was burnt to a crisp and they used a chicken nugget to complete the patty, but hey at least they didn’t put pickles right? There is always something missing too, whether it be a mcmuffin, fries, or even an apple pie, there is ALWAYS something missing, this is complete and utter B.S, I should not have to go back through the line multiple times to get things fixed, it’s called fast food for a reason, please be warned and do not waste your money at this McDonald’s, the employees are rude and incompetent, no matter if you go at 9 A.M or 9 P.M, they really do just hire anybody these days. Order was technically correct, but there was no straw provided for my Frappe AND the mustard packet I'd requested - though provided - was COVERED IN STICKY SCHMUTZ, because another mustard packet had apparently exploded and was left intermingled, thus covering all surrounding packets with mustard, which then dried, creating the STICKY SCHMUTZ!Went inside to wash my hands and get a straw and decided to order 2 pies (1 strawberry and cream; 1 apple) as I'd forgotten to order when in the drive thru. BOY WAS THAT A BAD DECISION!!! Placed order and all SEEMED well. After waiting 6-8 mins and NOT GETTING MY ORDER, I inquired. Two employees "conferred" with one telling the other to drop pies immediately; then one of the 2 came to the counter and LIED DIRECTLY TO MY FACE that it would be "about 3 mins more." After ANOTHER 6 - 8 MINS had passed as I AGAIN approached the counter to demand my $$ back, a manager appeared from out of the back and QUICKLY DEDUCED that the employees had "prioritized" ALL DRIVE THRU ORDERS and were IGNORING lobby orders! This manager quickly expedited the Lobby Orders, but the pies STILL weren't quite ready yet. She chewed out one of the employees because he'd apparently been told to "drop 2 lines" approximately 12 mins BEFORE my order, but had failed to do so! By the time she'd finished chewing him out, the pies were "ready." By this time my Frappe had lost all molecular integrity thus negating my need for a straw!! Read moreHonestly, if I could give this place a zero, I would give them just that. One day my daughter, son, and I were out purchasing different stuff for my new grand baby. I asked my kids where they wanted to stop and get a late snack. We stopped at the McDonald's in Atlanta, TX. I placed an order for three sandwiches and fries. Once we received our orders, I started to drive down the highway headed back towards Texarkana, TX and then to New Boston, TX. My son handed me my sandwich and it was not what I thought came on the sandwich. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. The store manager got on the phone and proceeded to argue with me, raise her voice, and then she hung up. I could not believe the lady did this so I turned around and drove about 20 minutes back to the store.
When I returned to the store, I was told that the lady I was speaking with was the store manager. I have never in my life met a store manager who was as rude as this woman was. I was given a number to call to voice a complaint. I am disabled. I can barely walk at times. I had to get out of my vehicle and go inside to deal with this foolishness. If this is how the top manager behaves, there is no hope for the crew. They should shut the doors if they can't or don't want to take care...
