It's 8 pm on 10-11-24 . Just moved to the area. My dad and I haven't ever been to a Sonic Burger so our first experience was as follows- I make my order at the drive through. Dad ordered cheeseburger, a fry, and shake. I order a double cheeseburger, a fry, some pickle fries for my wife , and a shake. Ok, I hear $24 and change. I get to the window and am eventually handed Part of my order. I then hand her the $25 and end up politely repeating the order when I realize she thinks that's it. She says" I'll get right on that". 5 min later she walks out the food for the people behind me. And then a second time the people behind me. 10 min later I finally make eye contact with another gal inside and she came to help. "I'm still waiting on my change and a shake". she walks off. I wait another couple min. She comes with my change and receipt, hands it to me. Then says fries and shake -$9 and change. I read the receipt and count the change I received about 15 min later and sure enough, not only is my dad already full, but the receipt showed only part of what I had ordered. So I paid for the rest of what I ordered for the food said thanks, left. The burger was SOGGY AND WET, plus cold.. I give zero stars. The place might look nice, but the food and service was undesirable to put it nice. FIRST AND LAST TIME FOR ME...
Read moreIf zero stars was possible, it would get one. First, the speaker system is atrocious. The volume is so loud, staff are distorted and feels like they are screaming into your face. They apparently can't understand a thing you say, either. They are either poorly trained on how to use it, it is not calibrated correctly, or it's out of date. But probably all of the above.
The staff are rude, and get very impatient and frustrated when they apparently can't hear you do to their faulty equipment.
There are often not many customers, but the wait time is very long. I have tried to be patient on multiple occasions, thinking well the food is being made fresh. No, it is always a let-down. Sonic used to be a very good fast food location, but this location is going downhill very fast. The food is often overcooked (cheese sticks with the insides fried out of them), or tastes stale and old (hamburger buns stale and crumbling)
Kind, knowledgeable staff can make up for food that is lacking, but this place has no hope. The employees have an attitude as if they don't care and don't want to work. But this all reflects the management. If management cared, it would be better and staff would care more.

Read moreOrdered a few blast and drinks using the app. Added whipped cream to both blast. As you know whipped cream cost extra. Added a tip checked out, paid, then headed to Sonic. Order was fast and the girl was nice is the only reason for the 2 stars. Received my blast without the whipped cream. I was told they ran out. I asked for a refund for the lack of whipped cream and she went to ask the manager. I was then instructed to call the number on my receipt since it was an app order. Called the number and was offered a partial refund or coupon for a free blast (with purchase of something). Which is not free. So I opted for the partial refund. I'm annoyed because my last big ice cream order was with horrible service. So I will either get my ice cream Dairy Queen now .....or just not order from the app since you have to prepay for things you may or may not get which an be a hassle to get your money back. Lesson learned. No...
