The Zen Bar — Restaurant in Atlanta

I was really looking forward to a 5-star experience, but what I got was 0-star service... For sure!

I ORDERED 3 SMOOTHIES & IT TOOK 35 MINUTES!! Never in my life have I waited so long for smoothies (I was the ONLY CUSTOMER THERE the entire time)! Overall the smoothies were ok, but not worth the wait.

I paid $35 to wait 35 minutes to hear a bunch of drama & it completely RUINED MY PEACE FOR THE DAY!

The 2 staff members that were present were too busy gossiping, lighting incense, playing singing bowls & doing tarot to make my smoothies! I heard 1 of the staff members entire struggle of the day/week before I got my smoothies!

I want so badly to support local, black owned businesses, but Im sure I would have gotten better service somewhere else!

Also something the other reviews didn't say is that the parking lot was tiny & the area did not feel safe.

The inside of the space was beautiful, but I couldn't enjoy it because I was so deeply confused about my extended waiting time.

I will NEVER be back to this place for anything or service based on this 1 experience I had! Wanting to give an honest review, hope this helps someone else...

Where do I begin? The atmosphere is so on point! My friend and I are on a spiritual healing journey and we decided to visit this establishment. We were greeted by an energetic, kind, staff member named Moriah. She was very knowledgeable about the products and told us how to order. My friend and I both purchased the root chakra smoothie and it was so delicious. We were suggested to buy the jerk empanadas and they were good. I’m not a fan of anything spicy so this says a lot. The vibes in the place were so positive that we ended up hanging around longer than we had anticipated. We also met one of the managers and she was a whole vibe herself. She taught us how to properly use a sound bowl and my friend ended up purchasing one. I can’t wait to go back to this place to experience one of...

I was hungry but didn't want to eat too much before having dinner later, I Google searched smoothie and "The Zen Bar" came up. It didn't look like there were smoothies from the outside but once inside I was reassured. The fragrant aroma was the first thing I noticed upon entry. There was no line so Tania began my order immediately. As a first time visitor I was Intrigued and excited about the ordering experience!
