Upon coming into the Wendy’s restaurant on Headland Drive I noticed that the entry door was locked when the sun clearly stated that the dining room is open from 9 AM to 8 PM. After another customer saw me trying to open the door or standing to get an attention, he got a manager. The manager came to open the door. Upon walking into the store, there was another dissatisfied. Customer who had already made and mobile order, but her mobile order was not ready, nor could have been found. I didn’t proceed to tell the cashier my order she seem like a newbie because she did not know exactly how to input the order that I had so she asked the manager for assistance. The manager came up and I told him my order I clearly said I want a chicken BLT burger built he did not put that order in the system. In fact, he looked at me like I was dumb. I saw the screen as he put the things and I asked him did you hear what I said I wanted a burger built he proceeded to say OK I’ll let them know but when it came time for my order as I looked into my bag, my burger was not burger built it was the regular chicken BLT. My issue is clearly with the manager for not making sure that my order was correct when he was the one that put it in. Now, usually this, Wendy’s is on point with the food but today it just seems as though it was not a points. I do hope that the customer service gets better and that they hire more engaging managers to be a part of the Wendy’s Company. I just Got a nonchalant attitude from everyone in the store and honestly if they feel that way why come to work I understand everyone needs to work To make money so if that is the case comes to work with a better attitude and maybe you have a better outcome with your customers and your day overall, I will be taking this experience to the Google review on the store and I hope that it gets dealt with at his earliest convenience. The menu board shows two flavors of shakes but you only have their choice of this bloody looking Frosty with this super sweet cherry stuff in it. It's disgusting! We could not choose the chocolate one he wanted and their service was so rude and unprofessional. The guy that took my money said that he was going to give me $3 off with some promotion that they had then said oh never mind, it's not working. After he took my money he said oh there it goes and took nothing off. The young lady that gave me my meal acted as though she was doing me a favor. When I say at the window waiting to ask her for the sauces and a straw and napkins that should have been in the bag, she acted irritated. She never said a word. The girl at the counter finally asked if I was picking up DoorDash & I said yes. While they were making the order, someone came from outside & said “the inside is closed. You gotta go through drive Thru.” Explains why everybody was looking at me crazy I guess 🤣 but I was thinking like oh the door was propped open & no one said that so I wouldn’t have known along with DoorDash telling me to pick up at counter.
