James, a manager of the papa john located at the Atlantic beach store, needs to get fired or more training for running business or being a leader. He did the same to me. I orded a vegetable pizza and he told me that it will take 45 minutes. However, it took 2 hours. Besides, a driver brought me a cheese pizza instead a meat and vegetable pizza. Whe i called a manager to refund my money or send me a right pizza, he attitudely told me that i must pay him more because it costs him a lot time to drive to the base. And he suggested me to go to his store for the next business day. Since I arrived to his store at the following day as he said, he told me to bring the left over of the pizza he delivered to me. I told him that he didnt tell me to bring the left over of his pizza. He ordered me to leave his store or he will call the police. Avoiding wait tim of the police for a pizza of $12, I told him that my friends and I will never again order a pizza at his store. He told me that he doesnt care and he will still get paid the same. Inshort, he hates military custmers, so military members from the base dont waste your time to order a pizza from that store bcse you will get a crap pizza with a smug attitude. I love papa john pizza and i have been their custmers for my entire student life in San Antonio Texas, but here in Atlantic beach, papa john has a horrible service bcse of his James' manager. I call to papa john owner to keep his titled by firing or grant mire trainung to James, who ruins...
Read moreTonight, we had the worst service from this location. Placed an order, after an hour of waiting and no food, I call the location to get an update. After speaking to the manager, she assures me the driver is almost at our house (we live on base, 15 mins from the store at most) after an additional 25 minutes had gone by, I call the location again and speak to the same manager, she tells me once more the driver is almost at my house, and tells me that during this time (9:30 pm on a Tuesday) there is high traffic and that’s what is causing the delay in my food. She then now goes on to blame me for living on base and that living on base is what is causing the delay, that it always takes longer for on base delivers (this is a ridiculous excuse, never has this been an issue in the past). In addition to "high" traffic and my home address to blame, but she now goes on to give me attitude for not accepting her excuses as acceptable. She informs me that only if my food is cold or wrong, will she have to assist me any further. My husband decides to call and cancel the order and request a confirmation number, she refuses to give any proof of the order being canceled. My husband goes on to request the district managers phone number and name, she refuses to provide this information. At this point is has been over 2 hours, no food, no money and only BS from this manager. After letting my son stay up past his bed time so he could eat, he ends up having to eat a bowl of cereal....
Read moreWe ordered pizza due to the promotion going on that would be helping the Jacksonville Humane Society. I put my order in online and at the end when I submitted the order I was told that they were partnered with DoorDash for delivery drivers. No big deal, I didn't mind. After a long wait for the pizza, which I figured may happen as it was Friday, later in the evening, and the NFL draft was going on, our DoorDash finally arrives. However, they did not have the root beer I put with our order. I was informed to call the store to rectify the issue. I called and ended up receiving a credit for the root beer as I felt it silly to have a driver come all the way out just for a 2L bottle. Everything was going smoothly after that. The food was good and everything was still warm. My issues came the next morning though. The next morning I checked my bank account and found three extra charges on my card all with a number associated with DoorDash. At first I couldn't recall ever using DoorDash until I remembered the PapaJohn's website stating they were using DoorDash drivers. I ended up calling my bank over these fraudulent charges. I'm not sure who I'm supposed to be upset with, Papa John's or DoorDash. Unfortunately, neither will be getting my business from now on as I don't know who decided to use my card for their personal gain. Now I have to go through the whole stressful situation of changing out all of my card information for my bills due to a...
