Coastal Craft Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Atlantic City

The service and food are both terrible. We waited in the 7 stars line behind 1 family & weren't acknowledged for 5 minutes of standing there to the point the man behind us asked are they even working? How do they not see all of us standing here? While I understand you're trying to accommodate a table of 7, you should've been working on the people behind them to fill in other tables that are already available for 1-3 people.

We didn't have utensils when we sat down but we figured they would be given when the food was brought out. We were wrong, after waiting 5 mins to find our waiter, he said he would be right back with them, after waiting another additional 5 mins, we had to go to almost the kitchen to find someone to give us utensils after our waiter was nowhere in site. When he finally returned, ANOTHER 5 mins (totaling 15 mins just for utensils) he then proceeded to lie & say "they didn't have any silverware", but by the time he came back, we had already gotten assistance from another waiter & he was able to get the utensils in 2 seconds. At that point, the food had gotten cold. He never checked on us & took forever to come back with the bill. I had avocado toast, my grandma had pancakes & we were there for over an hour because of how slow service was. After scrutinizing my license like he was trying memorize it (he cudnt find my bday🤔) my side sausage made it to the bill but not to me. When I questioned it he put in an order for another. Never got it. Then gave me the bill with the two orders I never got. Repeated asked for a condiment (that another server ended up giving me). The mimosas were a different price on the bill then on the menu. Was having a conversation with friends while he stood there n front us. Staring. Finally asked him what’s the problem he said he needed to cash us out….ok…we kept talking…we weren’t going anywhere and possibly were going to get more mimosas. Gary made us feel extremely uncomfortable and annoyed. I asked him were we being put out, he kept saying he needed to cash us out. I said fine, let me pay the bill and the bill ONLY. We were there a week and a half ago on a Friday and came in for dinner. My husband had been so excited to try it. Unfortunately it left a lot to be desired. There was no wait to get in. Our server was average. Pleasant enough, but not super fast. My husband ordered a beer and it was taking forever to get. He happened to notice the bartender kept pouring it and dumping it out. Finally she seemed ok with it and gave it to our server to bring to us. It was only 3/4 full. The server should have refused it and insisted on a full glass since we were paying for a full beer. Our food finally came after quite a while. I had the cheesesteak sandwich and asked for au jus on the side. I was given so little it wasn’t even enough to dunk half my sandwich in.
