I went twice and was 100% unimpressed. Not even commenting on the fact that it's expensive, but still mentioning it anyway because that makes it worse. Here are my gripes...
Confusing layout of the store. It's not clear where the line starts, or where to order, or anything. When I ordered a sandwich from the deli case, they toasted it without asking me. Which wasn't only a problem because I was in a rush... it also had arugula on it... and I think that virtually everybody can agree warm arugula is gross. There was one particularly rude staff member who turned me off. I tried to order an orange juice, which I saw in the display case. Apparently the girl at the counter told me I should get it myself from another case close to the cash register... but I didn't understand, and was under the impression I had ordered it. Then when I collected my sandwich and asked about the juice, she came in and raised her voice saying "I told you to get it yourself from there", gesturing to the other case. Really not the way to speak to a customer. Then when I came back later to order gelato, I was asked what kind of cone I wanted. I asked what kind of cones they have. They showed me a selection in a display on top of the counter. I asked if the ones with flavours (chocolate, etc.) were extra, they said it was. I said that's okay, I'll take a plain one. I still got charged $1.25 extra because apparently there are only waffle cones on display, and I could have asked for a regular cone at no charge.
No complaints about the food itself (other than the warm arugula). The quality was good... average, I'd say. But the way this place is run is one of the worst I've seen in this part of the world, and I'm saying that as a veteran of the service industry. Very much appears to be an amateur operation, and I think Harrah's should take some serious action to...

Read moreFood is ok, a little overpriced but that's pretty typical for casino options. My biggest issue is with the service. I went two times and they messed up my order both times. First, they gave me the wrong pastry and I didn't catch it until back in my room. When I went back, I mentioned the wrong order and the girl said that she gave me what I asked for. I pointed out that I ordered what was on the sign and she said the sign must be wrong (wonder whose fault that is cause it's not mine). The second time, I ordered two coffees and a muffin. I picked up my order but was missing one of the coffees. After asking where my other drink was, the girl just said that she didn't charge me for it. While that was true, and I didn't catch the price discrepancy when I paid, there was no offer to correct the situation by letting me order again. She simply stated that I wasn't charged then looked to the next person in line. TLDR: make sure they understand your order and double check...
