Guys Sammich Shop — Restaurant in Atlantic City

The establishment double charges! Today my family and me stopped in for a bite. I bought a burger, chicken fingers, a cheesesteak, and a order of fries. The total came to $44.30. Using my debt card I gave a $5 tip and signed the receipt for a grand total of $49.36. I went back to my room and I got a text telling me that my bank account was charge twice. Once for the $44.36 and then for $49.36. After realizing this I went back downstairs and informed them about the double charge. The cashier got her manager and he told me that “This happens to everybody all the time. The charge will go back in your account in 2-3 days. I told him that I’m 2-3 days, my vacation is over and I will be back home. He told me that it was nothing he could do for me and I would just have to wait. This is not far!!! I saved up all year for this vacation. I budget my money just right to enjoy my vacation. Now you’re telling that I’ll have to cut activities out because you overcharged me!! Not fair at all!! We were in Atlantic City for my daughters basketball tournament. My husband was so excited to see this restaurant was located in Harrah’s where we were staying. We had a long day of tournaments and decided to come back to the resort and order from Guy’s Sammich Joint. I ordered the tuna melt combo, the sandwich was flavorless and bland covered in an obene amount of lettuce. The fries were not even salted and were subpar for what we expected from Guy’s. My husband got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich which was swimming in hot sauce with unseasoned chicken. He also ordered the combo. He literally received maybe 15 fries in his order. Needless to say neither one of us ate more than a quarter of our sandwiches. Over $50 for 2 flavorless sandwiches and some bland fries. I will never again order from this restaurant. i was charged twice for my order. I was charged Sunday $37.48 at 2:12pm then I wanted to remove 2 drinks. ( Gatorades) that was $4 each . Which I was then Charged $28.95 on Sunday at 2:24pm instead of being refunded I was charged I noticed & brought it to the cashiers attention which she brought the manager out to tell me this happens all the time the money will return in a few days. It’s now days later & i have been charged again on Wednesday at 1:22pm for $28.95 so that was 3 times my card has been charged.
