Went to the pool during THE DAY. This past Saturday. The DJ was great the pool area was nice the 5 stars goes to Kira our server. I wish I could give her 10 stars! She was not only attentive but was pleasant and helpful and at least if she didn't enjoy her job, she did a great job, pretending like she did. She even let me borrow her nail glue because she heard me complaining about my nail that had just broken. My sister ordered the wrong thing and she came back and clarified before putting in the wrong order - anyone else would've just put it in. She is An absolute superstar angel. All the security guards were very attentive, and also very friendly and helpful. As far the the pool goes it's 21+ which I love, the atmosphere is nice. There's an outdoor like sun bathing area and bar I didn't know was there until we left. They provided towels. They don't serve food but you can order from other establishments inside the hotel and they will bring it to you which was great so you have options. It's probably better this way because one of the reasons I'm giving them three stars instead of four or five is because after we decided to leave for the day and having an overall really great experience, a giant cockroach that had to be at least 3 inches long crawled across the ground and under the couch my sister was sitting on. It was not a little baby cockroach that just may have found its way in there. It was a big one that seemed to be a regular guest considering the size. It did give me a sense of relief they did not serve food but still an obvious sign that the regular cleaning that needs to but done when you allow food to be brought in is not being done properly. The other reason I cannot give them a better rating is because for the size of the hotel and the amount of guests that stay there the available pool chairs is lacking. When you pay a cover to get in that's fine but you have to have a little more accommodations for those people. All the cabanas and additional spaces were empty, and there was an influx of people with nowhere to sit if you weren't in the pool. Also people were like leaving their towels and stuff on the chairs when they were leaving so people thought that the chairs were taken when they really weren't so I think they could do a better job of keeping track of people using the chairs so that other people can use them if they are no longer being used. or allow people to utilize the empty cabanas that haven't been rented for the day to give some more space. It just seems like for the size of the hotel the amount of available pool chairs, and space to keep your stuff is...
Read moreAbsolutely Horrible Experience — Stay Far Away from Harrah’s Pool After Dark! I’ve given this place way too many chances, and every time it's been a total disaster. Harrah’s Pool After Dark in Atlantic City is hands down one of the worst-run venues I’ve ever experienced. Between the shady payment practices, inconsistent rules, and rude staff, it’s not worth the money, stress, or energy. First strike: I paid for a section using my credit card — twice — because they claimed the payment “didn’t go through” on their end. Meanwhile, my bank confirmed they actually did charge my card twice, and it was flagged as potential fraud. Thank God my bank blocked it, but I still had to deal with staff who had no idea what they were doing and refused to take responsibility. No fix, no follow-up, no care. Second strike: I returned another time (still trying to give the benefit of the doubt — big mistake), and I had already paid for a section. At the door, I was stopped by a guy named Tom, who doesn’t even work directly for Harrah’s but acts like he runs the place. He flat-out told me I couldn’t enter because I didn’t buy tickets — without even letting me show proof of purchase. He was aggressive, rude, and had a horrible attitude, like he was mad at the world and taking it out on paying guests. Refused to give his full name, too. Just a terrible way to treat people. Third strike — and the final straw: This time, we figured we’d avoid any card issues by paying in cash. When I asked for a receipt, they told me I’d get one at the end of the night. Of course, at the end, there was no receipt. When I asked again, they told me receipts are only for card payments. That’s ridiculous. You take thousands of dollars in cash and can’t provide a basic receipt? That’s sketchy business, plain and simple. And to top it off — someone in our group was called out for wearing sandals. I get that there’s a dress code, but it’s literally a club inside a pool. People are swimming, it’s humid, wet, and full of beach vibes — but apparently you’re expected to show up dressed like you’re headed to a black-tie gala. Completely inconsistent, and once again, the staff handled it with attitude and zero flexibility. Bottom line: This place is all hype and no hospitality. Disorganized, disrespectful, and run like a scam. Do yourself a favor and spend your money anywhere else in Atlantic City. Harrah’s Pool After Dark is the definition...
Read moreOn Saturday, December 10, 2022, my three friends and I all went to the Pool After Dark while staying in Harrahs hotel. We reviewed the dress code posted on line addressed accordingly. We arrived at the Pool around 10:00 PM. Upon approaching the security line to have our ID’s checked a guard in the presence of a manager denied is all entry stating that our platform heeled boots are not allowed in the club. We notified him that we reviewed the policy before we arrived and the boot policy was stated no Timberland boots or work boots allowed. The S/G stated that they will still not allow us in the venue. We escalated to a lower Management level who notified us that he would contact his manager. While waiting for a response from a higher management our group observed multiple while people enter the venue with similar style boots. Another rep rom the club approached us and we’re notified that they were going to perform a refund for all 4 tickets. No one notified us of the refund until this person approached us. We flagged down the the lower manager who stated we would not be let in. We notified him of the other people who went in on a similar shoe style of us. He did not respond to us notifying us of the other people who entered the venue. We requested the higher manager Mr. Moody who stated that the treads of our boots were not allowed in the venue. We verified that the most recent dress code was the one displayed online and in front of the venue. Me. Moody confined it was. We pointed out that we were not wearing timberlands or work boots and were denied entry to the club. He also attempted to say the clothes that we were wearing were bathing suits. We were wearing leather soooo. We were still denied entry to the venue. They DO NOT UP HOLD THE RULES THAT THEY HAVE DISPLAYED. We will never ever ever stay at Harrahs or attempt to go to the pool after dark again due to the inconsistencies in their policy. You never know if you can get in or not due to how they feel that evening. Our money is just as green and no one ever apologized for the inconvenience just processed a Refund and ruined my...
