When I arrived it seemed like the two greeters were new and bumbling over one another but that's okay we've all been new at a job one time or another. The service got worse though. Our server, Melinda, was pretty rough. I walked in first and politely explained that my guests would be along shortly. She asked me if I wanted a drink, and as I asked for tea she continued to walk away. I politely called to her to ask for the table number so that I could text the other two guests for when they arrived. She yelled back to me the table number. Eventually, Melinda came back with a lot of silverware and napkins and piled them on the edge of the table quickly leaving. I just assumed that she was very very busy so I proceeded to fold the napkins and lay out the silverware for the three of us leaving the extra silverware that wasn't needed at the edge of the table. She did the same thing when my tea came - just piled it at the edge of the table. I proceeded to reach for everything that I needed to make a cup of tea feeling kind of stunned and dumbfounded. I was very polite with Melinda but yet she wouldn't even look at me so strange, very weird and I wondered if maybe she has asbergers. However that was quickly ruled out when my guests arrived, a male and a female, she spoke mostly to the male and even called him Darling. When she brought their drinks she just placed them on the edge of the table so we all had to reach over and pass them to one another. It felt as though we were at Medieval Manor!!! We were all good-natured about it and, feeling sorry for her, we even gave her a good tip.
But, if this is any indication how everyone there is trained for service it was pretty awful. Even while we were there the three of us couldn't believe it! We will not be returning. The food was good but two of our orders were screwed up with missing items. We never mentioned it to her mostly because she was so gruff. We all have bad days, but our group is good-natured and patient. Still nothing changed the rudeness continured. Even though our breakfasts were good, none of us will...
Read moreWent here to get breakfast. I’d been to other IHOPs before, and it was good, so I kinda knew what to expect. This time though, the experience was completely different… not in a good way.
It’s appropriate to have visited this location in the month of October, because this breakfast was scary.
We were led to our table all the way to the back of the restaurant, past multiple open tables to some sort of defunct children’s birthday party room with peeling football skin pattern wallpaper and a squealing HVAC unit. Even though we were seated in a weird separate room in the back, it wasn’t all bad… We could still look through the glass divider windows out to the other patrons inside the normal part of the restaurant and imagine what it must be like.
The waiter seemed busy, trying to do his best to serve the one other table in his section. We ordered our food, (Breakfast) and coffee. You can’t go wrong ordering breakfast at a place that had “pancakes” in their name. Right?
When the food arrived, it was ice cold with two Kraft singles thrown on top. Lmao. It was SO bad, that it was funny. Everything was dry, and hard, and cold… the bacon seemed like they cooked it the night before and left it out at room temperature in its own grease. The eggs were rubbery and cool to the touch. The pancakes would have been alright, they looked good, except they were cold.
I kept thinking I was going to get food poisoning the whole time. Everything was room temperature or less. I wonder what was going on in the kitchen? I don’t want to know.
This was some of the worst breakfast that I’ve ever been served at a restaurant… including airports, hotel continental breakfast, food stands, gas stations… this was worse than all of that.
What makes it worse is that the bill was over $40 for this. If it was hot and fresh, ok.. but, it wasn’t.
The department of health should form a task force and rappel down ropes from a helicopter to storm this place with food...
Read moreFisst off, I would love to give this place 0 stars but I'm forced to give it 1 star DO NOT EAT HERE!! To start off the main entrance doors were locked. A customer walking out of the restaurant told us it was open. They told the waitress that the doors were locked and they didn't bother fixing it. We should have taken that as a sign not to go into eat there.
! There are fruit flies all over the walls. Live Fruit Flies that kept flying down towards you. The table looked like it had not been cleaned and there was a bunch of garbage underneath the table like the bus boy didn't care to clean it. We asked to be moved to another table and the new table didn't have any fruit flies, but I had a bunch of dead fruit flies smashed on the wall We debated leaving but we were so hungry and we figured it would be better at the new table. The new table was just as dirty as the old table. I wanted to leave the whole time but my girlfriend was starving so we figured why not wait a little longer. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for cold food. At the end of everything we were not any type of discount or nothing to be said for the disgusting tables or late food. The manager didn't seem to want to be bothered. As I was paying. She rudely came and stuck her hand over me to put receipts into a little stick. Didn't ask me how was my food or how was the new table. She just pretended like I wasn't even there. If I'm correct, the manager's name was Jennifer. Thanks for nothing Jennifer. The experience there was awful. Someone should talk to Jennifer and show her how to be a better manager and to care for their customers better. Not to mention The waitress didn't mention she was charging me all this extra money for things I asked for. It would be nice to be educated about extra costs instead eating awful food and then getting a bill for $47 for two people to eat. I truly don't understand how this place has not been shut down for being as...
