At first glance I was really impressed with the size of the menu and the unique items it offered. But when I actually stepped into the place, the menu was too large and very confusing. I didn't see any mention of the kind of milk used, nor that sugar means flavored syrup. That's why the flavors are so overpowering, as many other reviews have described. They also do not use fresh fruit, but powder, which is typical for smaller establishments...however, it is less tasty and a lot sweeter.
I waited in line for long enough that the mother of the kid behind me thought they'd been kidnaped. When I finally ordered, I had to ask a million questions, because the menu was so unclear. Upon asking for a seasonal flavor of tea that was advertised in the shop, I was told that they do not actually offer that flavor. This caused further confusion and slowed down the already long line.
I waited an equally long time for my drink to be made. They had only two people taking orders and making drinks. They were very nice and helpful, but slow.
When I finally got my drink I was incredibly disappointed. I ordered their blueberry tea, which was about $6. I saw a picture of it in another review and was excited to try a unique flavor. It was literally seltzer water and blueberry syrup flavoring. There was no tea in my bubble tea. However, by this point I was so fed up, I just left. The shop was busy and I didn't want to create an issue or cause other orders to be delayed.
The dƩcor was adorable, but I fail to see a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAnyone who has lived in attleboro has known that for quite some time, the attleboro downtown has had a sort of ācurseā hovering over it. More often than not, a pedestrian could find more vacancies than vendors, surrounding oneself in a strange ghost town of has been businesses and storefronts.
I believe that this business marks a turning point.
From the moment you walk in to kimochi, you are instantly hit with the ever present care and character that has gone into this beautiful store front. From the simple modern aesthetic, to the lofi music in the background, to the engaged and extremely friendly staff, kimochi really puts emphasis on the āgood feelingā that they want you to take away.
But of course, you donāt go to a bubble tea shop for feelings, you go for the bubble tea! What can I say about it that hasnāt been said already? Affordable and absolutely delicious are typically not found in the same room together, but they go hand in hand at Kimochi! I had a fine selection of the menu, from strawberry tea with tapioca pearls, to mango tea with fruit pearls, I even had their espresso (10/10 btw)
In short, I am excited for the revitalizing boost that kimochi has brought to the downtown, and I look forward to bringing my business to them for a long time to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI didnāt even drive away yet without writing my review. The girl took my order incorrectly and gave me a regular sized cafe mocha instead of a large and when I was given my drinks after waiting I said I had asked for a large and then they said they needed to charge me an .80 difference for it (I thought I had paid for 2 larges initially and so I was confused.) I was told I didnāt and that āthisā has been happening a lot and the owners donāt allow them to remake drinks. I just thought it was super petty since they are the ones who got it wrong. Iām not swiping my card again for .80 and then now have to wait for another drink because you guys didnāt get it right the first time. And then continue to say oh this has been happening a lot like Iām someone looking to pull a fast one or something. I couldnāt be bothered for .80 itās just comical lol. I even tipped.. I guess to get me order wrong and then told to pay more to get it right. I was a regular and go out my way from the east side where I live. Iāll go to the other spots in my area now. Not worth my time.
So hereās a negative review. Hope that staff member who didnāt bother to pay attention and the .80 was...
