I cannot express the love I have for Don and Gigi's! Both the food and the owners. To give you context, I had my engagement dinner at Don and Gigi's. The food is great, the plates are full adult-sized plates, Gigi walks around the restaurant and greets her customers. So the experience and the food are amazing. In addition, everyone working there is sweet and kind and during our dinner, they even gave us champagne to celebrate the moment. That alone is a reason to give them a 5-star rating. And this is coming from someone who doesn't live in Mass, we actually live in Rhode Island. So we drive an hour plus for the community and food! Now what really puts them above most other restaurants is this: 1. Every time we go there to eat Gigi remembers us! 2. I called them to have my bridal party dinner, which was 25 people... on a Saturday. Which is something they do not normally do but as with any GREAT business Gigi worked really with me to be able to accommodate my request. My bridal part dinner was beautiful and everyone spoke about how good the food was. Don and Gigi's is a staple restaurant and if you are in the area. You need to go! Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Kiana

We saw Don & Gigi's on Joe Zito's restaurant review show a few times. My husband really wanted to try it so I took him as a surprise to celebrate his sobriety anniversary. It was well worth the 40 min drive! Gigi came over to meet us right away...such a warm welcome. Then she made multiple stops by our table to check in and make sure we were happy. The food and service were exceptional! We tried a few appetizers...lobster ravioli, stuffed mushrooms, & the calamari. The lobster ravioli was so perfect! Next time I will order that as an entree. For our entrees my husband got the Veal Sorrentino and I got the Scrod E Gamberi Frances....really flavorful with good portions! My husband couldn't believe how tender the veal was and how much there was! We left with doggie bags, dessert to go, and a gift card for some friends. Can't wait to go back. Great meeting you, Gigi!

Last night was my first time visiting this restaurant and it was wonderful for a first date. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Servers were attentive. Food was delicious. One of the owners, Gigi, came around greeting people and making sure we were taken care of. I will definitely be back. Update: brought my family and friends for the first time on Friday 10/11. I made reservations thru google. Walked in and then we were seated outside at 7:15pm. It was below 60 degrees outside. There was no outdoor heaters of any kind (they had some near their outdoor storage). They never asked if it was okay and didn’t offer to sit us inside when tables became available. I was very disappointed. We were so hungry and decided to deal with it anyway and stayed. Food was great. However wish the seating arrangement was handled a lot better.

After deciding to meet a family member in Attleboro, we knew we had to try Don & Gigi's after reading all the fantastic reviews! We started with an order of the mozzarella sticks. Fresh tasting and the cheese pull was enormous. Highly recommend the mozzarella sticks! For my meal I ordered the chicken parm with the fra diavolo sauce and rigatoni. The pasta was slightly overcooked, so it fell apart a little bit. Not a big deal, still tasted amazing. The pasta was salted properly and the fra diavolo sauce really provided an extra kick. The chicken was perfectly moist, and seasoned perfectly. Plenty of melty mozzarella on top of the chicken. My only complaint is that the breading on the chicken seemed soggy. Possibly too much sauce on top, or not drained after coming out of the oil. There was a layer of sauce, then cheese, then more sauce. Removing that first layer of sauce should help with the soggy breading. Despite the soggy breading, I would say this is one of the top chicken parms I have had in my life. For dessert I had a slice of the chocolate fudge cake and it lived up to the hype I have seen online. Extreme amount of chocolate frosting and moist cake with lots and lots of layers. You really feel at home at this restaurant. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The owner, Gigi, stopped at all the occupied tables and had a conversation. That's a nice touch and it really makes you feel welcomed and wanted at her restaurant. Nice to see an owner involved with her business! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area and beyond! Well worth the 45 minute drive, and I will for...

I went there on Sunday evening with my family. The atmosphere and general appearance of the restaurant was inviting. My friend and I ordered the chicken sorrentino. When our food arrived we were disappointed to see we did not get homemade pasta as indicated on the menu but instead received angel hair pasta. No big deal... once we began eating, the amount of grease that slowly oozed from the food onto our plates was disgusting! I had to put my napkin under one side of my plate to allow the grease to run away from the food. We asked the waitress who was rather robotic why there was so much oil and she said the sauce was made with cream. She them told us if we ordered this again to tell the waitress we don't want butter in it?! That doesn't make any sense! This was a tomato sauce. Butter? Cream? After eating some of the grease ball dinner I felt like I had eaten a lava lamp! We took the leftovers home and when we looked again, there was another load of grease that had drained out of the food! All the leftovers went to the dog. I just hope all that grease doesn't give him diarrhea. The two grease laden dinners cost me $50 that I'll never get back. The other dinners ordered by our party were ok but nothing to write home about. We won't be going back there ever again and when we want to enjoy good decent Italian food we'll be going to Pat's Italian restaurant...

I recently discovered this resturatant and was excited to bring my mom here for what i thought would be a great experience. While am I aware they were busy upon our arrival, I was very displeased to have waited over fifteen minutes for our server, Jennifer, to come over to the table. We ordered our food and drinks and expected to be back on the right track. When the server brought over my drink I tried it and realized it was not the one I ordered. It was not until half way through my meal that she came back over and i was able to tell her I had received the wrong drink, and that i no longer wanted it. She quickly left the table and we did not see her again until it was time for our check. Although our food was delicious, and frankly the only good part of our experience, we realized my mother's dish was incorrect. When ordering the server asked if the angel hair was okay for her meal, to whixh she said yes, but received spaghetti. Also she was missing an ingredient, pine nuts, in her dish. We sat for some time after fishing our food and when i tried to flag down the server from the table next to ours she looked and me and kept walking. By the time my sever made it over to the table we were frustrated and ready to leave. Due to our unpleasant experience we will not be back anytime soon even though the...
