I have never met a manager more rude and disrespectful than Mercedes. McDonald’s as a corporation needs to definitely reevaluate their managers and their leadership skills. Mercedes lacks leadership skills and the decency to understand her position and her customers.
I made an order on the 12/23/2022 at 10:22pm for a 10 piece nuggets meal, didn’t even care to ask me for sauce, and two Oreo Mc Flurries. I forgot to wait for my Mc Flurries and had left. This location is 25-30 minutes from my home and by the time I got home, I realized that I did not have my Mc Flurries. I then proceeded to call them at least 10 times and another 10, the next day after, and 12/19/2022, but their phone either did not ring or rung, but no answers. I was finally able to make it that way today, 01/06/2023. Told the speaker the situation and asked to proceed to the second window, when I got there, they gave me one MnM Flurries instead of two Oreo Flurries. I told them the correction and Mercedes came to the window angrily. She asked to look at the receipt and yelled at me that it was 10am this morning. The receipt clearly states 10:22pm. Then walked away and left me at the window. Mercedes refused to attempt to hear me out and resolve the issue. The service industry is hard and difficult, but it is unfair to treat your customers that way. Another employee, Selena came to speak with us, but could not resolve the issue due to Mercedes’ behaviors. Selena was very genuine and understanding; unfortunately, she was not able to compensate due to her position. I asked for another manager, but nobody was there.
I am terrified for the employees that are working and their customers. I am not attempting to get any free items, I am trying to retrieve the item that I purchased. If I could not get the item that I paid for, at least refund me the amount. I don’t intend to cause problems because I also run a business and there is no way that my managers will have the audacity to yell at my customers the way Mercedes did to me. Two Oreo Mc Flurries are not worth making it a big issue, but I must address Mercedes’ behaviors and impolite audacity. She should not be representing McDonalds and manage any type of employees. It’s important that managers attempt to understand and accommodate their customers in order to resolve issues. The woman with the burgandy briads, a manager I presume always makes a point of letting me know she isn't pleased that I give the fries back. I'm not going back. The last time I was at the counter I noticed that there was one "bagged" order of fried. Fries fresh from the fryer had just been dumped into the trays but remained un-bagged. Ms. red haired braid filled a drive through order and she scooped up a fresh order of fries. Then she filled my order and gave me the "old" bag of fries. She did it on purpose. She has proven herself to be unprofessional with her remarks and now she took it over the top by deliberated giving me old fries. Maybe she thought her comments in the past had intimidated me. Of course I touched the fries, they were cold and I told the counter person I wanted hot fries. I took a seat. Ms. red braids made a point of being the one to give me the new order of fries.
