I have had nothing but problems every time I have gone to o grizzlies.

I was originally super excited and passionate about the opening of this restaurant. Hoping that it became a staple as the college bar for Oakland University. Just as their owner and lead marketing manager said it was intended to be when talking with my student org.

I think the best way to sum up my experiences is by describing my most recent time being at O grizzlies were we were served my Mira, who has to be the most entitled, disrespectful, and unmannerly wait staff worker I have ever interacted with.

If you’re a fan of being harassed this is the place for you to come. After ordering drinks Mira comes back to the table and says “are you guys going to make this difficult or going to keep it simple” when referring to us placing our orders. Not sure if this was meant to be a joke but it definitely was not taken as one. Every member of our party was immediately taken aback.

To the point that many of our party members decided to no longer order food. We stayed cordial throughout the night. Only bringing our complaints about her service to the manager John, who seemed to have no remorse or care for our experience. And as we were leaving Mira decided to yelled aggressively and sarcastically across the restaurant “have a good night! I hope to see you guys again soon”

Again me and many of my peers in the largest social student organization on Oakland Campus are very displeased with how “our college bar” has treated...

I am heartbroken to share that my experience during my 2 times at o’grizzlys were both terrible. For starters, the servers I had, Mira and Taryn, were both terribly rude and unprofessional.

Yesterday when I went, Mira was our server. She took my friend’s drink order and then totally forgot about that, and when he asked again she brought the manager over for some reason which solved nothing. When she took our order for food she decided to have an attitude and complain about “us having a complicated order and not keeping it simple” which deterred most of the table from ordering food. When my food came to the table, she set the food down and then SLAMMED the ketchup down for some reason. Then, when I ordered a side after my food came, she did the same thing with the ketchup. She was super rude, and was even yelling at us on the way out.

Taryn, on the other hand, messed my order up my first time there. She brought out a totally wrong order, and then basically told me “it is what it is” when I asked for the food that I paid for and not whatever that was.

Overall, the managers do not care at all, the servers are rude, and the environment is poor. I was super happy that an Oakland themed bar was opening up near campus, but now I am just counting down the days until the bar closes. I’ll stick with twin peaks. The views are better there...
