They have a large selection of different ice cream creations, slushies, and even a few awesome food items. The pricing beats the commercial competition hands down! The owner is very friendly and will chat with you if it's slow. The only downside is their dial-up credit card machine, it takes a little while to process a transaction! Even with that slowness, they still crank out the line with friendliness, courtesy, and accuracy!

Update based on the last few times we've been there, this year (2025) and last year(2024): Service has gone downhill! The order-taking is still done with a smile, mainly because they know me and it's a pleasant experience. The issue has been on the service end. Asking for to go seems to be the main issue. Common sense seems to be out the window when packing things in the bag, I have to ask every time for things like lids and such and repack everything just so it will travel properly. Then this year we can add other issues. There was a mixup in their delivery and all they had was fat-free soft serve, ok no issue. The issue is that we weren't told upfront, so the choice to accept if we wanted that or not was taken from me. I wasn't told about the fat-free until I went back to the window saying that it did not taste normal, No offer to make it right was made. This past Wednesday we decided to try once more, but when I was given a Dirty Turtle where chocolate and caramel syrup were drizzled all over the spoon and the girl just looked at me without offering to fix it or replace the spoon I just grabbed napkins and did it myself! I was also given my to-go item without a lid or even a bag.

I hate writing this because I love the family that owns it, but I think it's important that people understand things...

Twist ‘n Dip in Auburn Hills is seriously one of our favorite spots to grab ice cream. The vibe is super chill and fun—perfect for a quick treat or just hanging out with friends or family. The ice cream? Always delicious. They’ve got so many flavors to choose from, plus fun twist combos, dipped cones, and sundaes that hit the spot every time.

Prices are awesome too—really affordable for how much you get. Portions are generous, and you can tell they don’t skimp on quality. It’s the kind of place where everyone leaves happy. Even if there’s a line (which happens a lot when the weather’s nice), it moves pretty fast and the staff keeps things friendly and upbeat.

There’s just something about this place that feels like summer—even if you’re stopping by in the fall. It’s got that classic local ice cream stand feel, and it’s always a good time. Whether you’re bringing kids, meeting up with friends, or just treating yourself after a long day, Twist ‘n Dip is always a win. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area—it’s a little gem in...

Me and my girlriend were on a walk with our 2 dogs and wanted to stop and get us all ice cream. I held on to the 2 dogs while she waited in line for 20 minutes for the ice cream which was understandable it was a hot day and a decnt line. When we recieved both our medium cones they were already leaning. I barely got to the grass before mine fell off the cone. I went back to the line and stood there an extra 15 minutes. Once I got back up to the counter I explained the situation to the worker ( a tall man with glasses and a front facing cap) He told me that if i wanted another one i had to pay for it. He didnt even say it politely or apolgize he just looked at me like i was lying and basiccally said beat it. This is customer service 101 and he failed even dairy queen gives you anothere one if you drop it. This was my first time going and last. This incident occured on 6/1/2024 at...

First time and last time here. We first waited over 30 mins sitting there smelling their dumpster. We ordered $13 in sundaes. 3 parties behind us were served before before we did. Our sundaes were missing toppings. Paid for a speciality one got ice cream and fudge covered in whipped cream. McDonald's does better with less wait time. Drove not even 5 mins home in the ac and it was soup. Needless to say between the smell, the wait, and waste of money on something McDonald's sells for $3 when its supposed to have brownie bites and other toppings on it. I poured it into a bowl after running it inside with it all over us for the picture.

This place is actually pretty GOATED. Fantastic soft serve, with some unreal fresh Oreos for my Oreo flurry, that's my weakness right there. The Oreos were kinda better than at DQ (sorry to my true love) and the ice cream was on par. The staff was even better than top tier, excited to be at work, serving and talking to customers. They even took phone calls with grace assuring patrons that the business hours on Google were accurate and even taking pictures with people who were just as excited to be there.
