Tried this Arby's for the first time the other day. We went in the restaurant to place our order to go & the service was satisfactory, without too long of a wait on our food. We had ordered a chicken sandwich, beef & cheddar sandwich, small curly fries & large jamocha shake. Then after returning to the car, someone who was with us then decided to get a sandwich to bring home for their family member. So we then pulled up to the drive thru & ordered it. There were two cars ahead of us, which we figured shouldn't take very long, but it actually did end up taking a really long time...which was really inconvenient for only 1 sandwich! I could see if he had a large order, but that wasn't the case. So overall, I was pretty happy with the experience. Taste & quality of food was terrific, no complaints about that or the service we received inside, but the drive thru could certainly afford to improve on speed. Please keep in mind that most of us enjoy getting fast food because of the short wait time & convenience, because many of us are very busy with everyday life (work, kids, appointments, errands, etc...) So when we go through a fast food drive thru, we expect that our order will not take very long! Of course I understand that some customers do have larger orders, but even once it was our turn at the window where we received the order, it still wasn't ready...and staff was seen running around inside looking lost & overwhelmed. I'm not saying we had a negative situation, but I do see a little room for improvement. My only other issue is when customers order food, they should receive more than 1 napkin! I understand being economical, but sandwiches can be very messy, especially when loaded with condiments, so staff should at least offer 2/3 per order, because chances are even 1 person is going to require more than a single paper thin napkin. Just a suggestion. We would be willing to return & again, food was served hot & fresh. Love the...
Read moreTonight i visited the Auburn, MA Arby's and ordered a slider kids meal with curly fries and water, along with the new bacon burger. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.
First, the bacon burger was a mess. It was drenched in sauce that dripped with every bite, making it difficult and unpleasant to eat. Additionally, the burger was overcooked; it was well-done, contrary to the medium-well expectation set by the menu picture and commercials.
The service at this particular location was even more disappointing. Despite explicitly asking where the sliders for the kids' meal were on the menu, I was charged separately for a bottle of water and fries in addition to the sandwich-only burger I had ordered. The cashier had directed me to the top left of the menu for the sliders, but I still ended up with the wrong order.
When I realized the mistake and went back through the line to address it, I was rudely told that my receipt showed I hadn't ordered a slider. This was incredibly frustrating, as the error was clearly on their part, not mine.
Overall, this experience left everyone involved upset and me compelled to write this review. I cannot recommend this Arby's location. If you're looking for accurate orders and decent service, I suggest you steer clear...
Read morePrior experience, with fast food restaurants, dictates disinterested high school aged staff. Not in this experience! Staff were courteous, from the person taking my take-out order, to the person delivering, who appeared to be in training. All appeared expressed a desire to ensure the delivered product was as ordered...and it was! I would attribute this largely to the MOD. While waiting for my food, a customer approached the counter, as if this was his first time at a fast food joint(clearly it wasn't). The MOD, who was taking his order, presented the patience of a saint. She gracious answered EVERY question, regarding possible food combinations, to ensure the customer received the best value for his dollar. Review of the food: well, it's fast food! Everything was as ordered, in the typical cookie-cutter fast-food experience. Most notably, it was fresh. Ambience: again, fast food joint! However, this one seemed especially cold, from the light blue color scheme, to the dismantled booth that was apparently amidst a construction/or repair project. In the end, it is the customer service that is responsible for the majority of...
