I had the pleasure of visiting Chimac on the first day of its soft opening with a friend😁 Despite the kiosk menu lacking some pictures due to the soft opening, the owner provided excellent explanations. The prices were reasonable, adding to the overall positive experience👍
I opted for the Buldak Chicken (K-Plate), and my friend chose the Beef (K-Plate)😋 both dishes were fantastic🥰 The extensive menu offers a variety of options, prompting me to plan a return visit to explore more dishes. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals❣️
The interior of the restaurant impressed us with its aesthetic appeal and cleanliness🩷 The friendly demeanor of the server and owner added a personal touch to our dining experience. Their hospitality further enhanced our overall satisfaction.
Chimac's soft opening showcased a promising start, with delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. I look forward to returning to sample more dishes and continue enjoying the delightful offerings of this establishment. Highly recommended for those seeking a satisfying dining experience with a diverse menu and...
Read moreI’ve always loved Chimac — their food is amazing, and I always order their fried chicken. The employees I’ve interacted with before have been very nice and friendly, which made me a loyal customer.
However, I recently had a very uncomfortable experience with one of the staff. I placed an order by phone and repeated myself several times to be clear, but the Korean girl who took my order was very rude. She insisted on charging me extra just to substitute wedge fries for regular fries, and when I tried to explain, she dismissively said she has been working there a long time and has “never heard of that.” The way she spoke completely changed how I viewed the restaurant, which is disappointing because I really enjoy the food.
If someone doesn’t have the patience or attitude for customer service, then working in this type of role might not be the best fit. I still love Chimac’s fried chicken, but this experience really left a...
Read moreI have a bit of experience with Korean food and from what I can tell this place is legit. I've been twice and on each occasion all the other patrons appeared to be Korean folks. Always a good sign. Food is delicious and both times I've been it came out fast. I love the little kiosk at the table to look at the menu and order. I've enjoyed trying a couple different types of soju, which is something I'm not terribly familiar with.
My only two complaints, if you can call them that. 1. I wish all the dishes had descriptions on the kiosk. Some do so it's definitely possible. On the other hand, we tried a couple things just from the picture and everything was good. 2. As others have noted, usually little bowls of kimchi and pickled things are included with the entree. Here they...
