Before trying new places, I read reviews looking for any deal breakers. The reviews I saw for this establishment were fairly accurate with one caveat; they offer a discount for a five star review. It's a nominal discount but enough I think to skew the ratings so I will share my experience. I needed the screen replaced on an old device that I hadn't used in a few years. After considering the "DIY/Youtube" route I decided it was best left to professionals. I called to get an estimate of time, cost and what I needed to bring. The young lady was polite and patient, but neglected to tell me I needed to bring my charger, so once got there I ended up having to make a second trip to bring it back. I was a bit annoyed because I don't exactly live close, but maybe I should have known to bring it. So I disregarded the fact that I had explicitly asked her what I needed to bring and she failed to mention it. She said my device would be ready on Friday, they would call to let me know and asked that I bring my charger back before then. I had my Mom take the charger because as I mentioned, it really is not convenient for me (or her) but she was going to be closer to the store than I would in the coming days. Friday arrives, I have a message saying that my device was ready. Last time I'll say this, the store isn't close to me so I couldn't get there until the next day. I arrive Saturday and after 10 minutes of the employees searching high and low for my device, calling the technician who originally worked on it, they finally locate it. The screen has been fixed, but is still/newly broken. After conjecture as to how it happened from one employee and consolation of how proficient the technician normally is from another (who I now assume is the manager), he tells me that they will have to order another screen and I should hear from them Monday or Tuesday. He says he doesn't want to give me my device in it's new condition as though its a favor from him. I'm reasonable, I understand mistakes happen, no big deal. The following Thursday, I have yet to hear anything, so I call the shop. I speak with the same young lady. She says she tried to order the screen earlier that week, (not sure why it wasn't ordered as soon as it was broken but okay) but it had gone out of stock. She has ordered it now and it will be ready to pick up on Friday. I get the call Friday, show up Saturday and the device is ready. My mom asked the manager for a discount as compensation for the multiple inconveniences. After recounting the entire ordeal to him he says he's not going to be able to do it because the repair has already cost him money, as opposed to him making money, as though any of the reasons for it costing him money have anything to do with me as the customer. I get that he is in business to make money. But this is called "the nature of business." The one star is for the fact that my device was eventually fixed and works well. But this is the minimum considering the fact that it is what I paid for. $200 (good deal or not) may be minimal to some, but when I am spending that kind of money, regardless of the product or service, I expect to be appreciated. The poor communication is unacceptable to me at this price point. And then to offer an explanation that is the equivalent of "I can't offer you good service because my profit was cut" (that's pretty much what he said by telling me how much my repair cost him) is laughable. But the fact that they will give a discount for a five star review but not for repeatedly failing to meet the expectations that THEY set...I have no words for that. If you have other options, I would advise you to give your business to a company that appreciates it, cares how you feel and wants you to come back. In response, I did inform the lady that I hadn't used it in many years, because she asked me if it still turns on, and I said I wasn't sure, its been sitting since I cracked the screen however many years ago, not that it matters. Staff not being authorized to give discounts was not communicated to me, more to every...

Absolutely unacceptable. I cracked the screen on my phone over a month ago. I reached out to start the repair process and was told the part would be in within 2 days. It took 2 weeks for the part to come in. When it finally did, the repair person cracked the back glass on my phone during disassembly. When the phone was finally reassembled, it did not have touch functionality due to being a sub-par product. Cellairis assumedly ordered the replacement back glass at this point, and eventually, a second replacement screen.

The following day, I was given a loaner phone on 1% battery life. By the time I arrived home to charge it, I found out it had a passcode and I had no way of reaching back out to the store until my dad made it home. I voiced all of my concerns to Kree at this point due to the consistent delays and lack of quality assurance on the original replacement screen. I was told that it was a "series of unfortunate events" and was offered a small discount as well as a guarantee that the parts would arrive within 4 days. I checked in during lunch on day 4 to find the screen came in and had touch functionality, but the back glass had yet to arrive. I called the following day after work and was told that the back glass had arrived, but they would not be able to work on it until today. When I called today, I was told that the back glass had not arrived and the tracking number gave an estimated delivery of tomorrow.

I have no doubts that since it has been another week, the replacement part (that Cellairis broke) is from the same manufacturer that sent the original faulty screen. The consistent delays have continued, and I do not believe I will be getting my phone back any time soon. It has been a month since I reached out to them. There are only so many times you can say it's a "series of unfortunate events" before you realize there are consistent, underlying problems.

I'm ready to be done with this business, but they can't even do that right. Do NOT bring your...

DO NOT GO HERE — BEWARE OF THIS REPAIR SHOP

ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE YOU CAN'T LEAVE NONE

We brought our daughter back to Auburn last week and had her iPhone screen replaced at this store near campus. It had minor pixel display issues, and we agreed to an aftermarket screen rather than OEM to save money — $159 vs $299. We were fully aware it wouldn’t match Apple’s color quality, and that was fine.

12 days later, the screen failed completely — green lines, snow, and ghost touches. She returned to the store expecting a warranty replacement, as documented on the receipt we kept, within the warranty period indicated. Instead, the tech refused, claiming without even opening the phone that it had water and physical damage. They then quoted her $249 for another screen replacement. So much for a warranty.

She went to another repair shop across the street. That tech opened the phone, found no water damage or physical damage, and confirmed the screen had been improperly installed, causing the issue. She paid for a new screen there — better quality, and cheaper than the replacement quote.

For closure, she went back to the first store to share what the other shop found — and was gaslighted. The original tech denied saying anything about water damage.

Bottom line: This shop is not reputable. They don’t stand behind their work, they won’t honor warranties, and they’re dishonest when called out. Don’t make the mistake we did — choose a...
