Well Red has been an absolute haven for me. As someone who struggles with severe anxiety, finding a peaceful place where I feel at ease is rare, but every time I step into this space, I feel an overwhelming sense of calm. The owner has created something truly special. It’s clear that a lot of heart and thought has gone into building not just a business, but a community.
The staff here is unlike anywhere else. They truly go above and beyond. They never treat you as just another customer; instead, they make you feel seen and valued with every visit. There’s a genuine sense of care in everything they do—whether it’s a warm smile, a thoughtful conversation, remembering your name and preferences, or simply making sure you’re comfortable. Their kindness is unwavering and consistent, which is so rare these days. If you’re looking for a place to recharge, unwind, or simply enjoy a good book and coffee, this spot is unmatched. Highly recommend!
The owner of this shop should be incredibly proud of the environment they’ve cultivated. It’s not just the cozy setting or the quality products that make this place special—it’s the people. The heart they’ve put into creating this space is reflected in every detail, and it’s truly a gift to...
Read moreI went to Well Red yesterday,my self and my girlfriend . We thought we were going to experience a calm , peaceful and relaxing area ,where you can sit and read a book that is inside of the store . Cause typically book stores allow you to sit and read the book or books before you choose to buy them . Whereas upon sitting and reading books we noticed there were other individuals reading books of the Caucasian ethnic background. As we read our books ,we where visited by a young Caucasian woman who works in the store and she stated : " You have to buy the book before you read it " . So immediately do to unprofessional behavior and feeling that this was a racist sentiment do to the fact we were out of state visitors for 1 and second we were of the Afrikan descendant background. And mind you other people whom were of the Caucasian ancestry were reading books off the shelves just as we were . In fact it was a Caucasian man reading a book in front of us and put it back in the reading section . He wasn't approached nor did we see her approach other people there . I view this as a prejudice act and discrimination. I don't recommend any body who is of Afrikan descent to go into this establishment. I rate this...
Read moreI love this place! It has my favorite iced chai latte out of all the local spots I have tried. The quiche is delicious and the wine selections are great. Definitely recommend going to a tasting to experiment and have good fun! They had every book in a series I was reading except for one and the owner was able to order it for me. The publisher sent the wrong book cover, sending the more expensive copy but the owner honored the original price of the version I was initially trying to order. We spoke just on that occasion and he has not only remembered my name, greeting me as I come and go, but has made it a point to remember other names of people that go in and out of the doors. You can hear him greeting people like he's known them forever. All of the people working make things run quick and smoothly. The atmosphere is comfy with several seating options, including indoor, outside on the front patio, the front yard, and the back patio. Parking is kind of always full but there's an empty lot across the street I've been able to use. I brought my dog here once to sit with me outside so I would say this is a pet friendly local coffee shop, bring waste bags just in...
