Crumbl — Restaurant in Auburn

Wow. I wish the owner was in there on Saturday 2/3/24 around 8pm. The employee behind the counter had about six customers in the store and he was in the process of arguing with a customer asking them to cancel their order because he wasn't going to make it. As I looked at the menu and without saying anything to the employee yet, he turned to me and my kids and said "just so you know, I probably can't make anything you order and anything you do order is going to be a 20-30min because I'm out of everything". Okay no problem. Except he doesn't tell us what's available and just stares at us like he just wants us to leave. So I let him know we didn't want to inconvenience him and that we would just head over to the grocery store to get cookies instead. Really, these cookies are a treat and way more expensive than our local bakeries. If it's a hassle to order here, we don't need to come in anymore. The previous week, we received a door dash from there with four completely different cookies than the ones we ordered. The week prior to that, the girl that helped me handed me my cookies from and just said "here" didn't open the box or anything. We were regular weekly customers and I order for corporate events. Employees greeted me with welcome to crumbl when I walked in and the cashier was nice and told me what flavors of cookies they had. I ordered a chocolate chip, a silk pie, carmel popcorn, and raspberry cheesecake cookie. When I got home I noticed that the raspberry cheesecake and the silk pie cookies were cold so I found it odd they are stored in a box next to the warm chocolate chip cookie and warm carmel popcorn cookie. Anyways I was very excited to try them and took a huge bite of the chocolate chip cookie and it was RAW. It completely started falling apart and was 80 percent just raw dough . I figured it was an accident and threw it away then tried the carmel popcorn cookie and again raw .... raw even for somone one that loves gooey cookies these were not baked enough at all . I figured at 18 dollars later I could atleast try the silk pie and raspberry cheesecake one and luckily the silk pie one was cooked throughly and the raspberry cheesecake one was as well. Definitely not impressed and don't think I will be going back for more underbaked over rated cookies that truly do not have the greatest flavor. To begin with. I really think people are going...

8/10. Cookies are good. They did greet as you walked up but it seemed like that’s because it was a checklist item. Still good service but it want to see genuine. Can never go wrong with a Crumbl cookie though. Husband loved the PB and J. There could be a little better consistency with the way the cookies look if I had to critique something. Honey bun was good but I didn’t think honey bun when I was eating it. Yummy though for sure! Update: I did not have any glaze on my cake.
