Dominoes steak and cheese pizza has always been my favorite, but because of the significantly higher cost that their other specialty pizzas, we rarely get to order it except when there is a coupon or special that includes this pizza [I'm disabled and on a fixed income, so this is a once in a great while treat for us]. Well, all this week all pizzas are 1/2 off when you order online, so I got excited and ordered two, one for tonight's supper and one for tomorrow nights. I called the store, after ordering my pizza [because there is no place to make adjustments online] and asked for NO mushrooms [I'm allergic] and for paper plates, napkins and for dipping sauce, which I would pay for when it arrived. Well, although the pizza was actually delivered hot and fairly quickly, it was covered with what seemed like EXTRA mushrooms, making it inedible to me. Also there were NO plates, no napkins and no sauces. I found this discouraging to say the least, and although my daughter enjoyed her dinner, it was NOT worth the time or effort to try and get it fixed. If they cannot listen to me to get the order the first time, I'm not going to wait another 40 minutes for them to screw it up again. I am seriously dissapointed in them, and it will be likely a long time before I do this again. I hope that with this review they will take it into consideration as constructive criticism, and learn to LISTEN to their customers, instead of just telling them one thing and doing another. The worst part was the guy who answered the phone and said he would take care of the plates, napkins, etc...was so polite and really seemed to care, but apparently the message never got passed along to the driver, either that or the driver lied to me when he said no one said anything to him. Either way I am unable to eat tonight because I haven't the money to order anything else, and cannot eat this because even if I pick the mushrooms off, I will still risk ingesting it and then going into anaphalactic shock. Read moreupset that nothing was done, gave it a 3 star only because i love their food, but this incident is BAD I bought two pizzas from her a month or so back, amazing and tasty until my husband took a bite up by his crust and quickly reacted to biting into something hard. yup guess what he sure did a 7/8 length screw! i took photos and you can clearly see it still attached to the dough. we called them they didn't believe us. so my husband drove it to them they seemed concerned and offered a new one. well at the time i think we were turned away from pizza. they took our number down and said corporate would be contacting us because this was not okay. i love the taste of the pizzas all time favorite. but someone could have been seriously hurt by this. not to mention what if it was my mother in law who was enjoying this fine pizza with us, who just had surgery on her mouth and still had stitches inside her top lip. The fact they haven't even bothered trying to make it right in any way. was uncalled for. and i still have the photos. Read moreEveryone is very nice, and the food I like(I LOVE) is usually made properly, left off a star due to once in a while, getting a slightly overcooked sub, making that nice bread hard, but the price for the specialty subs are great! Another reason I didn't give all five stars is that many times placing a pick-up order over the phone, I've gotten cut off with NO call back, and when this happens, they stop trying, won't answer once you've been cut off, making it very inconvenient and have to drive there prior to placing an order.(Defeating the purpose of a quick pick up order when needed after a hard day, etc.) I can't do delivery as we are about a half mile from their delivery range. (Although we live in the farthest house in a big complex, and if we drove to the end of the complex that would take a mile off of their trip, but it seems like they won't meet us there. 🤷♀️) Sry for the long review, I just wish these things were fixed, because I would give st least twice as much business. And we may order small orders, in comparison to a family pizza night, but if we can guarantee the ability call our order in properly,...at least the food I like, 'personally', is AMAZING! And those small orders would be at least twice a week or more! I love how my tummy feels fine after eating a Chicken Bacon Ranch sub...or two. It's less than $15 for 2.
