Wasn't my cup of tea so to speak. Our visit doesn't seem to be the norm. They tended to focus on the mug club members even if they came to the bar after us. They would serve them and go back to talking to other guest. That was a bit off putting having to get the servers attention to get a beer. I dont like doing that. It feels rude having to say "hey can I get a beer". It felt like I was interrupting something.
Selection was second to none, but a bit pricey. They have so many great beers to choose from. I was a kid in a candy store so to speak. As good or better selection than the place in Portland. Just wish they had more draft lines.
Lastly it was busy. They only had two people on serving, and everyone wanted to talk to them and not just order beer. I'd have been much happier if I could have sat at a table and ordered a beer than trying to get service at a crowded bar. Maybe having a dedicated server for the tables in the back might be an option. We just didn't see one if...
Read moreThis is a friendly place with lots of craft brews, local and others. The owners and staff are very friendly. You can find a quiet corner to share a table with a friend or play tabletop shuffleboard or even a board game. There are also plenty of stools and tables for standing in groups and socializing. The atmosphere is welcoming, the beer is great. The prices, like most pubs, are sometimes a bit high (really good pints are about $8). They could really use to upgrade their snack options and food quality too. Usually a $4 semi-warm soft pretzels or a bowl of boring popcorn are your basic options. Nonetheless, this is one of our favorite date-night spots now and a perfect place to unwind at the end of the week. If they upgrade the food choices, they'll be five-star for sure. I recommend this spot to anyone who likes a good beer or a glass of wine and...
Read moreThis place is a weekly haunt. Their food is limited but good. They have a constantly changing menu, great events including weekly trivia, tap take-overs, contests, and of course there is a comedy club in the back. But the thing that keeps us coming back is the amazing staff. They are always friendly, funny, and relatable. Even if you aren't into craft beer, they offer seltzer, cider and decent non-alcoholic items. And what blows my mind is how well-versed in their massive menu they are. You can easily go to the bar and say a type of beer you generally drink and they'll find you something new to try. Cannot speak highly enough...
