Donut Worry #5 — Restaurant in Auburn

I ❤️ this little donut shop! The bright, attractive colors of the building alone just make it a fun place to visit. The inside is always pretty clean when I go and there is a good amount of seating for families. Now the donuts…that maple bacon donut is like manna from heaven! If you are a bacon- lover like me..don’t sleep on this one. My other favorite is the regular maple-glazed donut, the twists, and the bars. I will say that you need something to wash the top glazed donuts down bc the dough is a little dry being that it’s not fully glazed. My son likes sprinkles, but says sometimes they taste kind of plasticky. I had the Thai milk tea and didn’t really enjoy it, bc for some reason it was frozen when given to me. I took off one star because the service is indeed hit or miss. Upon one visit, the young lady at the register had the worst demeanor I’ve ever encountered from a cashier. Which is unfortunate considering that this place is literally designed to be a happy place. Oh, how I wish these small business owners would check on their people regularly. I would have loved to work at such a cute place when I was younger, and would have the good sense God gave me to be thankful I had a job and put a smile on my face. But, Donut Worry…overall, the place is worth a visit…Or...

Typical donut place. If you don't go early, you miss the good stuff! My fault for going too late in the afternoo, but I was only in town for the day and had heard about the cronut, so I had hoped I could try one. Unfortunatel, they only had the cronut holes. I'M NOT A FAN! Hope the actual cronut is bette, but if it's much like the holes, I'll pass... probably won't make the effort to go early enough to try i, though. We came here today due to a friend’s recommendation. We got Custard, apple fritter, long John, maple bar, donut holes & a spicy and one regular Kolache’. We have not eaten the Kolaches yet but the donuts were outstanding. The service was friendly and helpful. They even brought us out a hot donut to try. We will definitely return. They have bubble teas and we got one Thai tea flavored. We did not specify but it came frozen blended. I don’t know if it’s available iced but it...
