my friend and I went in to grab dinner at around 5:30 on a Thursday evening. there were a total of two tables taken in the entire restaurant and a meeting was being held in the banquet room and they were not getting food. we ordered two sodas and a large pepperoni pizza, nothing complicated. My friend and I had her 2 small children with us as well. After waiting for 30 minutes for our pizza, and seeing others that came in 20 minutes after us getting their pizzas we asked the manager where our pizza was.he started making excuses, like "we are busy" and asked "well was it a big order?" Which they weren't and said that he would check. the kids were getting cranky at this point, so we asked if he could bring it to us in a to go box. we continue to wait. We finally got our pizza at 6:30 and noticed it wasn't even hot. It must have been sitting in the kitchen there for a while, because the cheese wasn't even melted anymore. we took our cold pizza and walked out the door. We did not get an apology from the manager, to go drink cups for the drinks we paid for, an "oops" pass for next time, or any acknowledgement of a mistake or sympathy from the manager. All we got were excuses, and were treated rudely by the manager. They had very poor service, very poor attitude, & I wish there was an option for less than a one star review. We will not be eating at this roundtable...
Read moreLots of pizza places around but at this round table you get a clubhouse. Drink beer and play a game, how fun! I think it's a little bit pricey for pizza but the pizza is good. Their version of the Hawaiian pizza is delicious. I believe they call it Maui "Z" something. For a large specialty pizza and breadsticks you can plan on spending about $40 bucks plus drinks and tax n tip. If you phone in your order and they tell you how long it's going to be they are pretty accurate as their estimate. Until the end of October 2021 they have an online coupon for $8 off a large specialty pizza.
More fun facts In 1959, Bill Larson opened the first Round Table Pizza in Menlo Park, California. He envisioned a gathering place where you could “share a little pizza with someone you love.” Bill believed in using gold-standard ingredients and time-honored recipes to boldly bake hand-crafted pizza worth sharing.
Today, we pay homage to Bill’s vision by continuing to use only superior ingredients in our pizzas, along with many of his original recipes. At the same time, we are refreshing our brand look – from the logo to the store design itself – to better reflect the extraordinary pizza we bake, and the dreams of...
Read moreThanks to Tyler the store manager at the Elm Avenue Auburn, CA location we will never order from Round Table again. They don't want to fix their cold pizza because the outer box was WARM when it was delivered according to the driver. He also mentioned complaining looked to be a pattern for free pizza because I insisted that a raw, over sauced thick crust pizza be replaced last month because it was not edible. The driver refused to take the RAW pizza with him when he delivered the burnt replacement. We order a large pizza weekly so we'll be taking our money to Mountain Mike's. I hope Corp Round Table and the owner of this location backs him up on this. We'll see what they have to say. We didn't touch the pizza and planned on exchanging it but Tyler just sees us as scam artists looking for free pizza instead of CUSTOMERS looking to have an issue corrected. If that was the case, why would I want it replaced vs refunded. No common sense running the show at this location. This crappy cold pizza hit the garbage can, not our...
